Premise:
Husker’s Russian slips out more and more often—at the bar, during card games, when Angel pushes his buttons. At first, everyone ignores it, but Angel realizes he’s fully fluent. And while Husk thinks it’s just a private habit, Angel’s secretly… kinda obsessed. The language itself is beautiful, but what really does him in is the weight of Husk’s voice when he murmurs pet names or snide comments in Russian.
it’s very Husk to use Russian as his secret outlet, and very Angel to find himself undone by something Husk tosses off like it’s nothing.
