God forbid, if Buck ever had to retire from firefighting, he was sure he could find a career as a professional gift wrapper. These had the cleanest wrapping yet — perfectly creased folds and practically invisible seams. Martha Stewart would be proud.
However, she would not be proud of the bows Buck had been trying to make for the last 15 minutes. Even though the wire-edged ribbon would make it easier to shape the bows at the end, that would involve making a good bow to start with, and that was proving to be more difficult than he had predicted.
