Turning 30 was relatively unremarkable. When he was a kid, Till imagined it would be some big accomplishment and after seeing 13 Going on 30, he really thought his 30s would be some of the best years of his life and he couldn’t wait to be “thirty, flirty, and thriving,” but life wasn’t a rom com and he wasn’t Jenna Rink living his dreams. No, he was, unfortunately, a thirty year old virgin, working a steady, but mind-numbingly dull job at an office that he didn’t necessarily despise, but didn’t exactly enjoy either.
Even though his life wasn’t an American rom com, maybe it was a shoujo manga starring a pathetic lead because his virgin status had granted him a magical power. But even his power wasn’t all that special as far as magical powers go, he could read people’s minds, but he had to actually touch someone to be able to read their thoughts. At first glance, he thought it was wonderful, he could finally figure out what women looked for and by reading their thoughts, charm his way into their hearts, but then he remembered, if touching women was easy for him, he wouldn’t be in this predicament in the first place.

Summary
All he can think and care about is Taxian-jun's careful hands on him, the way he handles Chu Wanning’s body and touches him like he's something so delicate he'd break at the barest hint of impact.
I'm not delicate, a part of him tries to say, but it's too far away for him to hear. The words are all muffled and fuzzy and he can’t concentrate long enough to figure out what they mean. Not when Taxian-jun is showering him with an abundance of affection that makes his heart sing, that makes it feel two sizes too big—swollen and overwhelmed. So he ignores it and basks in the familiar touches of Taxian-jun’s hands and the feather-light press of his lips. He allows himself to be pushed back onto the silk sheets, allows his arms to wrap around Taxian-jun’s neck as he’s kissed and kissed and kissed.
He slowly forgets as those memories are surrendered to the fog.
There’s nothing to worry about here.
So why should he need to remember?
[All is well until the haze starts to disappear.]
