“Once again, I am not taking care of you,” Kotoko insists, her fingers continuing to comb through Mahiru’s hair in search of the wound. “I’m just making sure you don’t die.”
There it is. As soon as Kotoko trails her fingers across the golf ball sized raised bump with a barely-there touch, Mahiru yelps like a kicked puppy, recoiling away.
“Ow,” Mahiru whines, “My head hurts, Kotoko-chan.”
(OR: Kotoko does not take care of people. Mahiru Shiina disregards this important fact, because of course she does.)
