    If someone had told Jamie at the beginning of the year that college would lose certain fun, he would’ve laughed at them. It was impossible. He loved college. Loved that he got to learn more about what he loved, do what he loved, and spend time with his friends while doing so. It sounded like the best thing ever to exist.

    It was. Until his schedule changed in a way that he now shared certain classes with Kiritani Ryo.

    It wasn’t like he hadn't seen Ryo before. No, it was impossible not to notice him. Handsome, cocky, outstanding, a big troublemaker who wouldn’t bend to rules, wore his flashy clothes, and didn’t think twice about racing his bike. But one thing was to admire Ryo from afar, another to actually get to know him.

    And maybe it was due to his own stubbornness and competitiveness that it ended how it did, but losing to Ryo had been quite bittersweet. Sure, he had his full attention, but at what cost?
