We deserve to see more than the 15th July! (tbh the story is perfect as is but we all need some healing imo) I am literally just filling in the gaps in canon. I will never be David Nicholls but hey ho.

Finn is asked by Organa and the resistance to provide detailed descriptions of conditioning programs TFO utilizes because it is needed for propaganda against the First Order. Finn, tension-filled and on the brink of flashbacks, gives as much detail as he can. When he can't, he decides to give them a way to view archived footage of his stay.
Cue somehow the footage being shown to the entire resistance, with Rey and Poe seeing first-hand what he went through.
BONUS:
Finn discovers people viewing it and tries to pass it off as if it was nothing, just making it even more fucked up.
If conditioning included forced self-deprecating statements by newbies. I can imagine the horror of Rey and Poe having to listen to Finn saying terrible things about himself.

Sam spits out a mouth full of blood, chest heaving with every intake of breath. He can't help but laugh a little breathlessly when he looks at the man across him. ''That's all you got?''
The other man doesn't answer. He simply steps closer, harshly grabbing Sam's chin to force his attention back to him. ''Answer the question, Mr. Wilson.'' he repeats. Sam is getting really tired of hearing the same fucking question over and over again. He isn't going to answer, anyway.
''Where is Mr. Barnes located?''
Sam looks him dead in the eye, ignoring the painful throb along his right eye.

“You get caught on somethin’?” he asks. They’ve been walking through the outskirts of the city and then towards Bill’s for a while without running into anything, so he knows it’s not from a fight, but he never saw her trip or anything that would cause an obvious injury.
“Huh?”
Joel gestures at her arm. He tries not to touch her too much – she’s a fourteen year old girl alone with a grown man she’s only known for a day. He doesn’t think it would be too comforting to her if he suddenly got overfamiliar.
“Aw, shit,” she exclaims.
