“Fuck.” The room spun off its axis as Lu Guang gripped the railing on his bunk. Sitting up, he tried to take a deep breath and ended up with nothing but mucus. He laid a hand on his forehead and felt beads of sweat. “Xiaoshi…” he mumbled nasally into their blurry bedroom.
“Mm?” His roommate stirred slightly, only now waking up.
He threw his pillow at the bottom bunk, “Get the acetaminophen, I’m sick.”
“Fuck.” A muffled Cheng Xiaoshi groaned.
Or…what happens when the author has nausea and decides to write a sick fic :D

Summary
Maybe it wasn't as sudden as Lu Guang led himself to believe— like he expected it to be. He remembered these feelings starting off as little thoughts, like how cute it was to see Cheng Xiaoshi smile, or how much sweeter it was to hear him laugh. The earliest he could possibly trace these thoughts back to was when they were standing in line together in wait for milk tea, and the rays of light from the setting sun illuminated his friend's face so perfectly. Though he whined about the light in his eyes all the way home, Lu Guang couldn't bring himself to let go of that one stray thought, that Cheng Xiaoshi looked so pretty in the warm glow.
(Or: Lu Guang always believed that falling in love could not be a possibility for him. He never understood what it even meant to be in love with another person.
Luckily, he has Cheng Xiaoshi to show him.)
