    So, the fortune-teller cursed him.

There was something in that dust, and either Kaveh’s passed out on the ground somewhere having the wildest fever dream, or it’s poison and he’s dead. This being a personal hell might be the better option because at least that way Kaveh can wave off Alhaitham’s sordid thoughts that he cannot fucking ignore.

After their coffee, Kaveh accidentally left that robe on the back of the kitchen chair. When he went to get it, he found that Alhaitham had already stolen it back, and though he couldn’t see the man, he certainly heard his thoughts scraping over his mind: He smells good. He always smells so good.

Kaveh gets cursed, resulting in hearing Alhaitham's thoughts--specifically about him. And oh, there's a lot to be heard.

    Summary

It all started with a game of Seven Minutes in Celestia.

'Cyno and Tighnari' quickly became, 'Cyno, Alhaitham, Kaveh, and Tighnari'

    ~*~*~*~*~

Kaveh grabs for his wrist, gently pulling Tighnari’s thumb away from his mouth, “It's okay, you know? You don't have to feel so much pressure over the whole thing. And if you don't want us to fuck you, we can find other ways. I just…” Kaveh breathes, smiles, “I don't want you to be uncomfortable. And sex has never been something you were comfortable with.”

    Tighnari leans into the touch.

    He needs to be honest.

    “That's where… I haven't always been the most forthcoming with the truth…”

“How would you like to do this?”

Kaveh, uncharacteristically shy, replies, “On… on the wrist should be fine.”

And Alhaitham can’t help it—he’s found that in the past few months of living with Kaveh, he’s so ridiculously fun to tease.

“And not on the neck?” he teases, tilting his head down and looking up at Kaveh through his lashes. It’s not a look he employs often, because being coy isn’t really his thing, but with Kaveh, who’s fully aware that it’s an act, it’s even more fun to see him splutter and turn red despite knowing Alhaitham doesn’t act like that in actuality.

Alhaitham's an incubus who doesn't mind feeding once in a while. Kaveh's a vampire who staunchly refuses to feed on humans except when strictly necessary. They work it out.

    Summary

Kaveh’s tattoos are praised by celebrities and magazines alike, but somewhere along the path to his success, the meaning bled out of his art. Then, after ten long years, Alhaitham rides back into his life on a motorcycle - rugged, quick-witted, and infuriatingly unforgettable.

With love laced into the ink Kaveh had long since stopped believing in, something beautiful finally begins to take shape once more.

It was too immaculate, really. The sleek countertops, glass partitions, and impossibly white walls gleamed under soft, ambient lighting like they’d never known the comfort of a chaos Kaveh had lived with his entire life. Every surface was made of the kind of material that rejected fingerprints and resisted clutter - sanitized, both physically and emotionally.

Though the district his new studio was in was posh and high-end, it was surprisingly devoid of a single decent coffee shop. Perhaps the elitist locals had never actually tasted good coffee and simply mistook bitterness in a designer cup for depth - much like their conversations.

So far, Kaveh had choked down three lattes and a macchiato that tasted like lukewarm regret with a splash of oat milk.

    Summary

CEO Alhaitham thought hiring an architect would be a straightforward transaction.

    Enter: Kaveh.

    Talented. Infuriating. Beautiful.

Suddenly, the design feels more like a demolition - starting with Alhaitham’s carefully structured life.

“Hi! Sorry I’m a little late,” Kaveh said breathlessly, bright and unapologetic. “Whoever designed your lobby is an asshole - it’s like a corporate minotaur’s labyrinth. I got lost twice.”

    “I like the lobby.”

“Of course you do,” Kaveh muttered.

Kaveh was exactly as troublesome as his work. Everything about him was too golden, too confident, too alive for a room full of grayscale - hair like a decadent brushstroke, hands that moved as if drawing invisible lines in the air with every careless gesture.

In other words, a man who made space bend around him.

“Our meeting began two minutes ago,” Alhaitham said flatly. “Though I suppose I should have anticipated that you’d be the kind of person to make an entrance.”

Kaveh simply smiled, sharp and sunlit. “And I suppose I should’ve anticipated that you’re the kind of person who’s profoundly bothered by two minutes of tardiness.”
