I’m sure that you, as a savvy reader, have noticed my phrasing by now. This Earth? you may be asking. Yes. This Earth, as one among many. This dimension is a different dimension from my own.
That’s the biggest thing to complain about, really. I’ve accidentally hopped dimensions, and I don’t have a clue how to get back home.
Saiki Kusuo's efforts to live an ordinary life are constantly being thrown into disarray, and this is the worst incident yet. Not only have his malfunctioning psychic powers thrown him into another dimension, they've changed the genre entirely. What's it going to take to get back to his usual comedy show?

Her son was, perhaps, cuter than the average, and admittedly he was endearing, in his own burping, dribbling two-month-old kind of way. That much, she could accept. That much was reasonable, for a new mother who’d never expected that her baby would be capable of smiling up at her so radiantly before he was even three weeks old. But suggesting it was anything more than that would be absurd. She knew it would be absurd. She reminded herself frequently that it would be absurd. The very concept of a two-month-old child being in any way outstanding was in itself absurd.
The problem, though, was that all available evidence suggested otherwise.
(Raising the world's most inexplicably talented and charismatic baby wasn't always easy.)

Summary
Saiki doesn’t know how long he’ll cling (although 'cling' isn’t quite right, given the deliberate desperation it implies; perhaps 'defer' is a better word) to a youth that doesn’t want or become him. His body seems determined to plod in the same annual cycle, unshakeable. He watches faces narrow, stubble appear, bodies fill out into adulthood. He makes excuses, or lets the excuses make themselves and nods in all the right places ("You’re so baby-faced, Saiki-kun" or, Aiura’s words, "You’ll have to show me what you use on your skin!"). It’s an unforeseen side effect of the time loop, and one he resents. Slowly but determinedly, the world moves forwards - and those he knows (or tolerates) with it.

Shuuichi is no longer an only child.
“He’ll be your responsibility,” his father says on the ride home, as if he’s not talking to a teenager who shouldn’t even be responsible for himself, let alone a five-year-old.
Shuuichi nods anyway. Takashi is asleep against his side, a heavy reminder. Shuuichi will do whatever he has to. He’ll be whatever he needs to be.
He promised Takashi he would keep the monsters away, and that’s what he’s going to do.

Ogata says, in a kind, careful voice, “Natsume, of course we know you.”
“Not everything,” Takashi insists, feeling his heart start to move a little faster. “You don’t— you don’t know everything.”
