Summary
Late presentation isn’t exactly unheard of. And Dazai certainly existed in the perfect conditions for it, growing up as he did in the Port Mafia, neglecting his body’s basic needs. But why in the world does he want Chuuya, of all people? That’s the part in all this heat nonsense that really doesn’t make any sense.

Summary
It’s essentially a marriage, Chuuya knows. A mating bond is for life, until death do they part; even then the one left behind will be haunted by whispers of another soul through their bond. Coupled with the fact he’s doing it with Dazai, who exudes the futility of life with each breath he takes, it’s the same as asking Chuuya to be tormented constantly when Dazai inevitably leaves him, leaves this world.
Wherein a mating bond is complicated, and feelings even more so.
