Isaac had nearly wet himself when Stiles had hit the deck but at least Scott doubled up on the concern, rushing over to him and helping him back to his feet after taking a ball to the face sans helmet because practice had been over, okay, and Isaac was a dick. At least Jackson wasn’t here to make jokes about Stiles being a Wednesday Webcam Whore and how he should be used to having balls flying at his face.
He’d be worried about knowing Jackson so well, but he’d been bullied by him since kindergarten, so you know.

Luckily for him, Wilbur seemed more than happy to share. “I kind of get bored from all the other snobs… I always enjoy going to smaller, more local areas. It’s a lot more interesting to me.”
“So why come back here-?” Tommy pressed on, not realising that he walked back over, the only thing separating the two was the counter between them.

Summary
Tommy had suffered on and off throughout his life from hanahaki, which sort of happens to someone who trusts too much and always gets their hopes crushed. He just wants someone to actually care about him, but he knows he's not going to get that, especially not with Dream and not with how the disease has been getting worse.
Dying and defeated, Tommy's only solace comes in the form of weird eldritch singing emanating from the forest outside his window. He knows that whatever it is will likely be a cannibalistic cryptid from his worst nightmares, but somehow he can't find it in himself to care. Any death will be better than suffocating alone.
Or
Tommy is on a quest to get killed by unknown monsters instead of the ones he does know. This is somehow more difficult than it should be.

He left a minute ago, practice is over.” He did his absolute best to hide the tears that were welling in his eyes. Don’t cry, he reminded himself, don’t cry because that’s weak and nobody likes a weak kid.
“At-” Quackity looked down at his watch, “eight thirty in the morning?”
Tommy hummed quietly, pulling his skates off and replacing them with his sneakers. “Practice starts at four fifteen, you can’t get this good if you don’t work until you drop.”
Or; Tommy's an outstanding figure skater competing at the World Championships, his coach is harsh, and his life is hell. Quackity's here though, and that makes it all more bearable.

Wilbur was being followed.
In theory, that may have been upsetting, but in practice, he wasn’t actually too bothered. Especially considering that his pursuer was a teenager and not particularly good at going unnoticed.
Wilbur waited until he’d made it to deserted street before turning around. “You’ve been following me.”
The kid stumbled back, obviously startled, but to Wilbur’s surprise, he didn’t seem scared.
In fact, he recovered quickly enough to say, “You’re a vampire.” It wasn’t a question. He was staring at Wilbur, but it wasn’t in disbelief. Instead, his blue eyes were calculating.
“Yes,” Wilbur said slowly, taking in the light flush of the boy’s cheeks. “You’re not.”
“Nope,” the kid said, shoving his hands into his pocket. “You wanna work out a deal?”
