Its arms are forcefully yanked above its head in a mockery of movement, and white clothes fall to reveal red and purple ones. Thick, ugly cords jammed into its back.
“I’ve really done it,” it says, and smiles, though its eyes do not move. “I’ve found exactly what I’ve been looking for.”
He tries to push himself up, to no avail, and looks down to find that his hands have turned to thin, flimsy paper. Every inch of his fingers is covered in dark, permanent black ink.
“Shouki no Kami,” Kunikuzushi spits, tone vitriolic and cruel. He laughs. “And yet, you still dream.”

But as with all things, dreams must come to an end, so Nahida sighs and focuses on more important matters. Such as, the stunned girl with white hair sprawled on her knees, leaflets nestled in her braid. She looks up at Nahida with a completely bewildered expression. It’s like looking into a mirror.
Nahida looks down. Black knee length shorts.
“Oh. Whoopsies.”
“Whoopsies,” Scaramouche says, and her own voice comes out. “That’s all you’ve got? Whoopsies?”
Sometimes, getting to know a person is to walk a mile in their shoes, literally. Other times it’s taking pictures of the things you like, and going for joyrides in the middle of the night. It’s about finding a friend you never knew you needed, in the last place you’d ever look. About wishing you were worth sticking around for, and realizing you were enough all along.

Eula knew she was being selfish.
The last thing she wished for was someone getting hurt for her sake. She knew this. She had done everything in her power to save her men from certain death, after all.
What would have been the point of that if others risked their lives in an attempt to save her?
After reports of hostile activity from the Fatui within the borders of Mondstadt, the Reconnaissance Company is sent out to scout the possible dangers and observe potential threats from the Fatui outside their walls, led by Captain Eula, the Spindrift Knight.
However, after a severe miscalculation and an encounter gone wrong, the Company returns to the city with one less member.

“But Dadan, it’s Fish Day!” Luffy protests, scrambling to get up. He can hear Sabo’s breath whoosh out of his mouth as Luffy’s knee digs into his stomach, and he has to dodge a rubbery elbow to the face as he sits up, grabbing Luffy around the waist with one arm and covering his face with his free hand. It doesn’t stop him moving entirely, but it at least slows him down.
“Luffy,” Ace deadpans, hand still over his mouth. “What the hell is ‘Fish Day?’”
Foosha has some sort of festival going on, and Luffy is dead set on his brothers accompanying him.
It's probably the best thing they could have done.

The solution: You pretend he’s alive for as long as possible, so that when he is found dead later, it will be considered entirely unrelated to the time you were supposed to keep him safe.
