    As soon as Soobin was out of ear shot, Kai let out a wolf whistle.

    “What?” Yeonjun asked, a surprised giggle bursting out of him.

    “Soobin-hyung’s drunk,” Taehyun said. He looked around before leaning forward, as if going to tell some deep-rooted secret. “He scented you.”

    Yeonjun frowned deeply. “I don’t know what that means.”

    “You don’t know?” Taehyun shook his head. “Scenting is like—”

    Taehyun’s mouth snapped shut when he saw Soobin returning.

    Yeonjun has been in love with his best friend since he learnt what romantic love was. Perhaps even longer. As much as he’d like to think Soobin could like him back, there are too many hurdles in his way for romance to ever happen between them. Such as Soobin being straight. And of a different species than him. But as time passes, new acquaintances are made that suddenly make him work to get Soobin’s attention back. And after a series of... unfortunate events, suddenly everything about their situation changes.

    Does that mean their relationship can change too?
