Sweat and dirt-stained, clothes worn, that thumbprint of their father’s blood at the corner of his chin from where Doflamingo had touched him.
Rationally, it couldn't have been real. He still surveyed the islands across the North Blue and kept a tap on the local news, but had long stopped expecting anything. It had been seven years after all. At this point, Rosi was either dead or didn’t want to be found.
“No,” Doflamingo growled, “No, no, you don’t get to do this to me.”

The Battle Subway has rules. The rules are important - they keep fights fair, and balanced, and most importantly they keep the passengers and staff safe. One of the chief rules amongst them is this: Legendary pokémon are not allowed on the trains. The trains are not safety rated for pokemon who can wield the power of time, or space, or the moon, or wishes.
"You are not supposed to be here," Emmet tells the creatures who rule over time and space, both currently sitting in the middle of the carriage he is trying to inspect for damage. “Legendary pokémon are not allowed on the subway. Why are you here?”

It has been a year and seven months since Ingo vanished. This is not the night that Emmet would have expected to be given news of what happened to his brother. Dialga, Palkia and Arceus' arrival was not something he expected on any night. This hasn't stopped them from showing up anyway.
