Summary
Squinting, Harry thinks it looks like a ferret, but before he can confirm anything, the creature scrambles from the table and makes a mad dash for the space under the door. A quick swish and flick lifts the thing into the air and floats it closer. Harry reaches for his glasses and the darkness around him sharpens slightly and, yes, that is definitely a ferret. Pure white with dark, beady eyes. The closer the ferret comes, the louder it squeaks and chirps in what can only be described as anger.

Draco is missing and no one seems to care. There’s also a very prissy ferret that Harry can swear he recognizes. Are these two facts connected? Of course they are.

Summary
Mydei has nothing better to do, so he’s mindlessly scrolling through his social media feed when he stumbles on a strange video. It’s just a bunch of guys playing sports, but with an odd caption plastered over it: “POV: when bro says he’s hungry so I stuff him”.
Confused by the text, Mydei checks out the comments for an explanation. Instead, more scenarios with “bro” pop up, some of them disturbingly descriptive and detailed. He belatedly realises that the “stuff” in the POV was not what he thought it was.
And then— his brain betrays him. An image flickers in his mind, uninvited and way too vivid:
Phainon, flushed and breathless, arms locked around Mydei’s shoulders, legs tight around his waist. Shivering, whimpering his name in that broken, aching voice that Mydei had never heard, but could suddenly imagine all too clearly.
“Wha…”
To his horror, Mydei realises that something in his pants is starting to rise.
Now Mydei is shocked, flustered and desperately questioning everything, especially why he suddenly can’t stop thinking about Phainon that way.
He doesn’t think he can look him in the eye after this.

Phainon studied his skin, the way it wrapped around his bones, veins, and muscles – the pads of thumbs rubbed at the flesh there, graduating to his nails, scratching at the skin to see if the blood that flowed from his veins would still be that bright gold of deliverance turned destruction, or a pure, human red.
His body sang with the golden blood, pulsing beneath his skin, suffused with his bones and marring his flesh. It danced with the flames of a burning fire, thrumming in a siren song that beckoned him ever closer with each passing second, and Phainon wished he could tear it out. It scratched beneath his skin, how he would always be a little less human than the rest of them because of this; because of his body being made to house this calamitous divinity – the perfect vessel.
Phainon studies his body. Mydei sees it differently.

Seriously, Phainon’s eyes had softened when he looked at Mydei. Multiple times. In public! And here Caelus thought eyes could only soften in Jing Yuan fanfiction.
