Eddie turned to look at Richie, puzzled.
“What? Right about what?” he asked.
“You could love him. You have so much love to give, Eds.” Richie explained.
“Wh- Richie what are you talking about?”
Richie’s eyebrows were drawn together. He looked hurt. “You don’t have to hide it from me, Eddie. You can tell me that you’re in love with someone, even if he’s a guy. That won’t make me stop being your friend. Hell, who am I to talk?” He let out a self-deprecating chuckle.
Eddie’s eyes widened. He didn’t know what to say.
