They can see oddness, but they can't see the marks of a father's hatred and lust under her clothes.
They can't hear the crazed screams of her sister as she shouts at shadows that aren't there.
But can they see the two spirits stalking the princess's every step?They find other stuff odd. Stuff the surrounding adults don't find odd, only horrible
or...The gaang slowly learns that not all the evil in this world came from the war.
And they try to understand it while battling more than fire nation soldiers. -

If Saruman had broken into song and dance before him, it would have surprised him less than Thranduil giving his sequestered daughter over to Elrond's care.
But here she was dismounting her horse as beautiful and beguiling his ever. Thranduil will have his head for this.
Maybe she is worth the loss of a head.
Legolas is sent to strengthen relation between elves realms by her father.

Summary
A year has passed since Legolas and Elrohir were wed beneath Greenwood’s leaves, their love steady as light through the trees. Peace has lingered, fragile and golden, but peace seldom lasts.
When autumn deepens, they journey west beyond the forest, seeking quiet roads and the simple beauty of the mortal world. Yet the land feels changed, heavy with silence. In a small village wrapped in mist, whispers rise of seregrog, blood spirits said to descend from Thuringwethil’s brood, thought long vanished from the world.
What begins as unease becomes fear, and fear becomes truth. Something walks by night, unseen but watching, drawn to light, and to love that burns too brightly.
Together, Elrohir and Legolas must face what lingers in the dark, where desire and death entwine, and the line between beauty and horror blurs. For where the light falters, shadows remember, and evil waits to be named again.
