Of course, being Hannibal Lecter and Will Graham, it doesn't go to plan. Murder ensues, as it always does.

Set in Manhattan but Nigel falls in love with Adam the way he fell in love with Gabi.

Written for the Hannibal Kink Meme prompt: Will figured out Hannibal was the Chesapeake ripper, resulting Hannibal's imprisonment and a complete breakdown for Will. A few years later, Hannibal escapes from prison. Despite the risk, the first thing he does is go after his Mongoose. Give me obsessive, possessive, creepy as hell Hannibal who still wants Will for his own.

Can you talk to it?” Nigel starts to answer, perhaps just a profanity to fill the air and return the room to a semblance of its former displeased normalcy, but the kid interrupts him. “No, otherwise you wouldn’t need me to do that for you.”
Nigel does not need another man on his team for this heist. He doesn't fucking need one. And he certainly doesn't need Adam fucking Raki, but there he fucking is.

After his breakup with Beth, Adam finally found a new job. That it was in Bucharest, across the world from everyone he knows, was both a blessing and a curse. Everything familiar was gone, he would need to rewrite his entire existence, but at least he would no longer have to deal with his awkward friendship with Beth, or the way everyone always stared at him. He had no idea he would be moving in just down the street from the headquarters of a gang that ran most of Bucharest's seedy underbelly. Nigel didn't question any of Adam's quirks, and the rules he lived his life by might be just what Adam needed to balance his life back out.
