Just a nice cherry on top of the fucking cake that, even if anyone did hear him screaming when claws tangled in his jacket and pulled, Steve honestly wasn’t sure they’d have cared enough to bother anyway.

Summary
After the events of March 27, 1986, Steve Harrington made a mixtape of the songs Eddie Munson never got to hear.
Or, Steve has a cruel, twisted way of dealing with his grief. Which, truth be told, is also the kind of grief that shouldn't have a chokehold on his heart for someone he only really knew for a little over a week, but it's Steve's grief all the same. And the only way he could properly honor that grief was by channeling it through the one thing his friend loved the most.

All this to say that Steve kind of just lets things pile. And Eddie's seen a hell of a lot pile up before it makes Steve physically or emotionally unwell from the baggage. So when he walks in on fawn legs and almost trips over his own feet to get to his bed, Eddie can't help but be a bit worried for him.
"You good, dude?"
It's a pretty staple greeting. Other roommates make small talk or bitch and gossip. Eddie and Steve make sure the other isn't about to need a trip to the hospital. It works.
