Team Free Will can’t seem to catch a break.
Metatron is in the wind. The brothers are at an impasse. Dean is succumbing to The Mark, and Castiel is on angelic borrowed time.
So when Dean finds a missing persons’ case that might just be a lead, Castiel is all too happy to go along for the ride.
Their so-called milk run takes a sour turn when they discover that the missing teen’s old CRT TV is a conduit for an unknowable force that wants, very badly, to make itself known to them, and worse, their secrets known to each other.
And it’s going to use every available wavelength to do it.
Including Castiel.

Summary
Dean is something a late bloomer, so it makes sense that he doesn’t start university until he’s already in his late twenties. He’d planned for a business degree, something that will give him a mooring in an unstable life, but an unexplainable encounter during a class trip leads him down a different path.
Fifteen years later, history professor Dean Winchester and his best friend Charlie are both fresh off a divorce and heading back to Rome to try to recreate the magic of that long-ago summer. Older, heavier, but probably no wiser, Dean goes back to the strange statue that he’s been obsessing over to tell it how it changed his life. He’s not sure what he expected, but it certainly wasn’t for the statue to reciprocate. Or to ask Dean to show him the pleasures of the city he’s stood sentinel over for centuries.

Summary
Centuries after the surface of the earth was devastated by an unknown disaster, the remnants of humanity live in a series of vast underground silos, each unaware of the existence of the others.
For the inhabitants of Silo 34, the silo is the world, and the only world they know. Questions about the outside world are forbidden, and asking them is what got Dean Winchester's parents killed. He isn't even sure himself that they weren't crazy.
That all changes when he hears a voice on the radio -- a voice from another world.

Summary
All Castiel Novak wants to do is survive his surgical internship without falling into one of the endless pits of drama that his cohorts always seem to find themselves mixed up in. He’s doing a pretty good job of it, too, keeping his nose clean and focusing on the medicine, and he’s certain that if he sticks to it, he’ll be able to settle into his residency with ease and make his family proud.
That is, until a green-eyed, smooth-talking patient in need of a new heart shows up and throws a wrench into all his carefully laid plans.
Now, Castiel needs to find a way to both take care of Dean’s heart and figure out what his own is trying to tell him before their time together runs out.

Summary
It's a year out from rescuing Cas from the Empty (again), a year since Dean and Cas could finally have what they both wanted — but for Cas, it still doesn't feel like a happy ending. His grace is never going to be what it was once, and he is struggling to come to terms with it. He finds an interesting coping mechanism, tries to hide it, and finds out that Dean is no longer willing to accept any secrets between them.

Summary
Claire’s taking life day by day, trying her best to not let herself be defined by everything she’s lost. Some days are better than others.
She was happy keeping Castiel at arm’s length, pulling him close when she was missing her dad, and pushing him away when her anger called for it. Then he decided to get himself dead, only to come back to life and adopt Lucifer’s bastard nephilim.
Nothing like a good old fashioned ghost hunt to bring everyone together.
