    Normal if you think of constructing your own prosthetic limbs, being married to a veritable Amazonian goddess, and being a researcher on a hyper classified government project as being so.

    Now, this project he’s working on (he knows the whole thing was a sham from the start) requires him to meet with 3 old friends and ask for their help. Hopefully he can sway them into helping him before it’s too late.

    Hopefully this journey won’t be the start of his life spiraling out of control, right?

    The world ended when the Hollows appeared. The old civilization fell and humanity was nearly wiped out by monsters called Ethereals. In the world that remains, society has completely shifted thanks to the presence of the Hollows and the resources found within them called Ether Crystals. These crystals expanded the limits of what was thought to be possible, giving humans abilities they could previously only dream of and as a result, a fighting chance against the Ethereals. There was only one small issue however.
    Only women can be granted powers by Ether.
    As a result, men are seen as… unnecessary in the grand scheme of things. They are still citizens of society, go to school, and even hold down jobs, but none could hope to hold any kind of authority or greater relevance in the world that remained.
    So what on earth is this power that Wise now wields?

    “You know, everyone’s trying to make me scared of you. I’ve never been scared of anything, and I don’t think I know how to be,” Yuji admitted. He wasn’t sure why. It just felt like the thing to say.

    “Only the weak know fear,” Sukuna replied simply.

    “Are you saying I’m strong?” Yuji grinned around the coke bottle before he took another drink. It was funny in a bizarre way to be having such a casual conversation.

    Sukuna scoffed, “No. You’re just stupid.”

    It took Yuji a while. Mostly because he’d never known anyone like Sukuna, but eventually he understood. Whenever Sukuna called him stupid, he really meant ‘I love you.’
