karl barely managed to get the last word out before quackity was collapsing into his arms, nearly knocking the lantern out of his hands.
“woah woah woah, are you okay? what happened?” karl snaked his arms around quackity’s middle, lantern discarded in favor of comforting his fiancé.
“he- bad- the egg-” quackity’s voice cracked, hyperventilating into the taller boy’s colorful sweater. karl rubbed his back comfortingly, mouth forming silent words as his brain caught up to the situation.
“okay, let’s, um-”. he rose to look into quackity’s eyes, the normally expressive dark pupils now shiny with tears. karl felt his heart fracture, hands tightening in quackity’s jacket. “let’s get you home.”

Techno uncrosses his legs, sliding off of the counter leaving the book behind. The hybrid takes slow, calculated steps towards the trigger happy blond; flicking his braid off of his shoulder. “Okay. Any rules you want to add in particular?” He reached his hand out for the gun, which Dream gave him happily.
“Best three out of five?” Dream steps back, crossing his arms over his chest. “You know the rules. Aim for the head. If they die, that’s a loss.” He shrugged, “and if they don’t, that’s a dub. Simple as that.”

Summary
Quackity has a gift. His mother had called him a seer, but most people just called them both fucking crazy. Which they probably were, in all honesty. Quackity couldn’t remember the last time he’d felt like a functioning human being. His adult life consisted of a drug fueled haze, nonsensical conversations, and the occasional demand from the police station that he assist in solving the cases they were too stupid to solve. It’s ridiculous, see? He wished he’d just kept his mouth shut.
When Sam stops by to drag him along on another stupid case, Quackity expects nothing more than a monotonous day of pretending he was some kind of detective instead of the boy who cried ghost. What he finds instead is much more interesting. Drawn into the chase of a strange serial killer and even stranger ghosts, Quackity finds himself working side by side with a team from the FBI that might just give strange a run for its money.
It’s a break from his regular routine. One that he never wanted, but also one that he doesn’t mind as much as he thought he would. Sue him. That married couple was hot and Quackity would always be an opportunist at heart.

Sapnap’s life is good at Badlands ranch. He’s got two dads who love him, an obnoxious little brother, and three almost siblings. Of course good things end, but that by no means implies he has to be happy about it.
Quackity just wants his school tuition to be cheaper. Getting away from Schlatt is a great bonus though. Really how hard can it be to care for some animals on a ranch though.
Karl is going to do something good before he graduates so help him god. If that’s what Badlands ranch provides he’ll take it even with the sour look on the owners son’s face.

Follow me!”, Charlie happily announces as he starts walking towards a big red building. It was probably full of casinos.
He was so stupid and painfully stubborn, but a part of him still hoped that it was all a big misunderstanding and that maybe just maybe they could fix everything. It was a naïve and childish wish, but he wasn´t giving up on it yet.
Karl looked at him concerned and unsure, but Sapnap nodded. He grabbed his cold hands and followed Charlie who led the way.
The sky was full of clouds now, it was probably going to rain again. The streets were still lit and lonely.
So much for a nice evening, Sapnap thought.
