Summary
Behind him, Chongyun's suitcase hits the ground with a loud crash. As if that was the trigger, he's pulled upwards into the arms of the person who saved him from tripping backwards into the same fate. This close, he can tell that the person is a boy with short navy hair that looks about his age, and they're about the same height. Feeling warm from both his fever and being basically pressed up against someone, Chongyun feels a surge of sudden happiness thinking that this boy might be a new schoolmate. Maybe they can be friends.

The wanderer crosses his arms, eyes tinged with irritation but not quite a glare, dampened with begrudging respect. "I'll remind you that you're not my keeper, Lesser Lord Kusanali. You've helped me enough. I don't need you to act as a friend. Or family." He almost spits the last sentence, hostile enough in a way that shows he's uncomfortable. "Or whatever you're trying to be. It disgusts me.”
Nahida doesn't quite mimic him, but she too crosses her arms, looking at him directly. "You may not consider me your friend, but you consider me as Sumeru's archon, right?"
"Yes."
Nahida hums. "Well then, as Sumeru's archon, I am responsible for those who step foot in my nation. And I make it a point to take care of guests. That means basic human decency."
Human decency. How laughable. He shakes his head, then frowns at how the movement brings his attention to how his hat is lighter now, missing a veil. Trying to ignore the thought, he raises an eyebrow, asks, "Even those who tried to become a god in your own nation? Who tried to replace you as its Archon?" And who regarded human life as worthless?
Nahida smiles. "Especially," she says, and it feels as though she’s answering to all three questions.

Summary
Scaramouche has done many a terrible, evil thing. Kunikuzushi has done worse, is still doing worse, but no one alive knows that. He will ensure it stays that way, until the final act draws its curtains, until he is sated and ready to move on, until his soul perishes from the guilt of having a heart.
Oh, it may take an eternity, but he's got all the eternities in Teyvat and more.

Having finally completed his lifelong mission of getting the electro gnosis, Kunikuzushi is still far from satisfied. There are still so many other missions he hasn't even started on, like taking over Inazuma, taking over Teyvat, taking over Celestia...he could go on. But the gnosis turns out to be not at all what he expected, so as of right now, his most urgent long-term mission is to figure out how to control it. Unfortunately, as Kunikuzushi will come to learn, the heart of god is not so easily constrained.
Until then, though, he can try...and in the process, he just might uncover the secrets and truths of this world that he never wished to learn or believe.

Truth number 0: Kunikuzushi (and by extension Scaramouche) is a really, really shitty individual. Individual, not human, and certainly not puppet.
