Summary
And so the paramedic runs around to the front of the ambulance, and soon, Bobby and Hen watch as the young firefighter disappears from view, not knowing if they’d ever see him alive again.
The two stand there for a moment, the weight of the last ten minutes hanging down on them like a pile of bricks. It isn’t until Bobby feels a sense of something missing that he breaks out of his trance once again, and turns toward Hen.
“Where’s Eddie?”
Hen stares at him in horror as she, too, realizes that they hadn’t seen the man since before the lightning strike.
“Oh my god,” she says exasperated. “You don’t think-”
“Cap!” Ravi cuts Hen off as he runs around the firetruck toward Bobby and her.
They watch with concerned faces as the kid makes it all the way over to them.
“It’s Eddie. He got hit too.”
…
Buck and Eddie’s hearts become intertwined after being struck by the same bolt of lightning, because there’s no way Eddie didn’t get hurt after being flung off of that truck. My spin on 6x10, with recovery too.

“They really got you good with that stuff, didn’t they?” TK says with slight disappointment.
“A whole bottle,” Carlos says as if it were some accomplishment. He starts to slowly nod his head abruptly stopping because of the sharp pain that fills his brain.
“Hey, that is NOT something to be proud of,” TK says to his fiancé, dually noting that he’s looped up on meds. Carlos gives him a slight chuckle before sighing. TK rubs his arm up and down again, wanting so bad just to climb in the bed with him and hold him.

“TK, look at me, baby,” Carlos tells him, forcing his eyes to rise up from the floor and meet his. “We’re gonna be fine. They’re placing extra officers and Rangers on every call today.”
Carlos can still see TK’s hands flexing and unflexing.
“Tyler.”
TK snaps to attention, his hands stop moving.
“I’ll be okay. Hey, maybe if we’re lucky we’ll get placed on a call together,” Carlos says with a smile.
“Okay,” TK lets out a big breath that he’d obviously been holding in.
Carlos brings his hands up behind his husbands’ back and pulls him in. TK wraps his arms around his husbands’ warm frame, holding him close and hoping that the day will go by smoothly…

“Tommy,” Buck gasps, “it hurts.”

Carlos' eyes cut to TK. He's hoping his fiancé will give him a hint, cut him a little slack and mouth the words to him, but TK just stares at him with a quiet sort of desperation.
He chews on his lower lip. "Westpark, I think? But I don't... no one really told me."
