“I must press upon you the importance of this opportunity, Castiel,” Mick says, still watching Cas intently. “And quite frankly, I'm looking forward to working closely with you.”
Sam's eyes widen, and he twists around on mere reflex alone, grabbing Dean before he can launch himself at Mick. Dean slams into him, but he's too angry to be thinking clearly, so Sam manages to wrestle the gun from Dean's hands before he can do something he'd regret later. Now is not the time for caveman tendencies, nor is it the place to stake his claim. Dean lets out a real, genuine growl, face pinched in fury.
God, Sam can't wait to tease him about this later.

That's proving to be very difficult for Dean.
There are wants scratching against his skin, begging to be let out. Releasing them once wasn't his fault, but it's a bitch of a problem to handle.
How's he supposed to forget the feeling of Cas writhing in his arms, panting in his ear, staring at him with such reverence and need? Dean can't; it's like the memories lay in the center of his brain, latched onto every other part, pushing its into every fucking thought he has. It's just…there.

Summary
The rest of his words fell away to utter silence as the doors to the barn creaked open after one strong push. Dean nearly fucking lost his grip on the sleeping bag, and he felt as if he was going to be sick for a moment. What waited on the other side of the door could have easily been yanked out of a romance-obsessed thirteen year old girl's diary.
Candles placed in the shape of a heart were lit around the barn, large enough to nearly fill the perimeter. Fucking rose petals were sprinkled around the ground in the middle of the barn, looking strange against the dirt on the ground. A boombox was sitting in a corner, gently playing What About Love by Heart, which had no right being as good as it was, though Dean would never admit it.
And the fucking worst cherry on top of the sundae was the projector right beside the door, splaying a blown up picture of Dean and Cas with their arms flung over each other's shoulders, smiling widely. It looked as if they'd been caught mid-laugh, and if Dean didn't know any better, he'd think they were a bit cozy in the picture.
Dean was going to absolutely murder Sam.

Maybe it's the little girl whose disappearance turned into a murder, and whose murder turned into a cold case, and who has now apparently decided to move in with him. Maybe it's the unacceptable hole left in his life when his dumb best friend and partner in (the prevention of) crime decided to go and get himself killed. Maybe it's his brother, whose high-profile career and fantastic girlfriend and first-child-on-the-way are steadily leaving Dean in the dust. Pick one. Pick all of them. The why doesn't matter so much as the what, and the what is this: Dean is pretty sure he's going completely, certifiably insane. Sure, he hasn't started wearing all his clothes inside out, and he still showers on a regular basis (anyways, that's not crazy, just a little eccentric); but there's no getting around the fact that he just threw away his life, his career, and his reputation by dragging out his mom's old necromancy book and summoning a Class A Forbidden Entity to his attic. A cranky one, too. With horrendous bed-head.

It’s with a hesitant grip that Castiel raises his bow again. He knows rather obviously that he’s fully dressed, but he feels naked when he starts playing for the second time. Expression of any type is terrifying in that way, he supposes. Look at me, it says, and see what I am telling you without telling you. The lonely melody creeps from his fingers again.
He finds himself rocking back and forth on the balls of his feet with each broad movement. As though he’s trying to play the violin with his whole body instead of just his hands. It's a strange feeling. I won’t cry, but maybe you could cry for me.
“Cas,” Dean interrupts abruptly between the time that Castiel picks his bow up to end one note and to start the next. “Are you okay?”
or the one where castiel is reunited with his love of fiddle playing and dean wants to be there for him when things get hard
