Summary
Soap’s got a place to head back to, and it’s not back on base. It’s with Ghost back at his flat in Manchester. Soap would’ve preferred his own flat in Scotland, because who the fuck wants to visit Manchester of all places? Besides, any place where Ghost is is a place Soap wants to be.
So Soap isn’t going to let anything stop him from returning back to Ghost, where he can find solace in a man who knows and understands him more than anyone. He needs Ghost. He needs to get the fuck out of here, make it to exfil, return to base, give the quickest debrief of his life, and head straight towards his peace.
