"the things I have done... the things I will do," Essek scoffs with a self-deprecating smile, "unbecoming of a jedi like you to accompany me in such endeavors."
Caleb shakes his head smiling, "there's good in you Essek, deny it all you want I know its there. I have seen it myself."
Essek sits up straighter, his back against the wall, "if so, then won't it mean there's a bit of bad in you too, Caleb? A rebel streak?" he quirks an eyebrow playfully, "You are here with me afterall."
Caleb's face softens into something unlike Essek's seen before, a wry smile tugging at the corner of the jedi's lips.
