    The space was narrow, almost too tight for two. Still, K stepped in carefully, gently closing the door behind him. Taki stood before him, shirt unbuttoned, tie hanging loose, cheeks flushed, golden light glinting faintly in his eyes. Something in him trembled, stretched taut like a wire about to snap. K froze for a moment.

    “I’m so hot…” Taki whispered hoarsely, leaning into him. “Please… do something."

    K looked down, feeling the tension in Taki’s hands, the ragged rhythm of his breath.  There was a scent in the air, unmistakable. Not illness, but intensity. A memory stirred inside him.

    “I think I know what this is…”

    "You know exactly what I mean. I feel you looking at me." Euijoo is self-aware, until he isn't, and then it's Nicholas' turn to remind him how badly they both navigate whatever they have going on.

    "How do you know I'm looking at you if you aren't looking at me? Huh?"

    Euijoo takes it with grace. He really shouldn't. "Okay. Fair."
