“You’re late,” Jason felt the words twist on his tongue in an odd manner. That wasn’t quite what he meant to say.
“Better late than never Jaybird,” Roy piped back. “You alright there?”
“I’m fine,” Jason shook his head. “He didn’t get me with anything.” His stomach rolled and his heart dropped down low. Everything felt cold and tight as panic began pulsing through him. He did. He did get me with something. The words refused to spill from his lips.
Jason is hit with a weapon he can't figure out how to fight against. His tongue betrays him as he spirals and pushes everyone away.

Big Mama grabs his face in her hand and forces him to look at her. “You’ll be my obedient little champion, won’t you?”
Leo only glared at her.
Big Mama flourishes the remote and presses a green button.
He can only draw in a single breath before excruciating pain engulfs his entire body. He convulses and writhes on the floor, his body utterly disregarding his commands. Moments swiftly transform into minutes until the agony fades, leaving Leo a limp, breathless heap on the ground.
“Now, do you want to try that again?”
“Yes.”
Big Mama presses his face hard against the floor. “Yes, what?”
“Yes, ma’am,” he grinds out.
