grrr this series is just so much fun and so cool and the homemade lore and story is just so clearly a labor of love and passion and born from a true love for horror things. amazing, fantastic. my skin crawling
the type of fic that has me on edge constantly making theories and mentally noting every little thing and being way too observant for my own goodabsolutely love the characterization and dynamics in this one esp cuz they’ve gotten closer. they’re all just so silly joking and bickering and making fun of eachother lol
my fav trope of all time and seemingly a recurring one in many fics: frank being a medium vessel thing and constantly getting his shit rocked by it and him also slowly getting a hang on it and shit. so fun i just love it so much LOL
cool to see unholyverse inspo once more (from the previous statement and just general other stuff and vibes)
also words/phrases i’ve come to learn op writes in i guess just all their fics. not poking fun cuz im totally guilty of this lol i just find it so fun to find certain things in someone’s writing where you’re like “oh it’s this writer!” like it’s so part of their style…it’s fun

op wasn’t kidding when they said this fic was spooky i read this in an empty dark alone room and was Spooked LOL
this fic keeps you so on your toes and interested…dynamics and stuff are super fun as well
love the setup and the pov switching and each section havinf a timestamp and a temperature read. it was like 25°F at one point and nobody gave a fuck 😭
this was absolutely wild (and incredibly interesting. so much lore just made up so convincingly i had to google it at some point cuz i was like wtf i thought this was real stuff) from start to finish and im so exited for the next 2 parts

woahg..that was alot
this was deifnetly the most raw emotions charged installment to this series, a lot of messages with love in all forms, romantic, friends, family, etc. so much everything going on
some stories start more silly and lighthearted in their first part but at a point become unhinged horror and everything is a lot more serious than it used to be you realize at some point along the way. this is one of those stories
a much heavier one, very intense, so good. the creativity and love behind everything, i continue to praise. just so amazingly done in every aspect. another edge of your seat keep you on your toes type of storya beautiful ending to this series and the absolute batshit hell these guys have gone through
the full circle from chapter one of the first series from frank saying fuck it, let’s get weird, wrapping allll the way around to the last line of the third part of gerard saying the same thing. so good
i don’t wanna keep repeating the same things in each three bookmarks but just know anything i’ve said applies to each lol
this one def has less silliness but still has just enough to give you a feeling of hope and stuff lol
franks reappearance and his stupid jokes ugh i missed that freak…gabe and frank childhood besties to adult roommates w gabe getting dragged into frank’s shenanigans i know i wont ever get this perfection from anyone else but op…i’ve never read it before their stuff but im hooked. fantastic gimme 13 of em
also i thought the chapter interludes of franks poetic thoughts were fun and unique. i liked seeing that stuff
petekey continue to be fucking hilarious. mikey you have to kill your boyfriend (now husband ?!) it’s the only way…mikey kill him and you’ll be reincarnated into a lotus flower…
anywho yah this fic (series. the collective. goth gothic) is amazing and so much fun. read it wiggles my fingers at you. read the spooky ghost haunting shit (well the second and third mostly third aren’t really ghost hauntings anymore it’s some more wilder shit but my point remains)

the supernatural agony and peril that frank iero goes through in every frerard fic needs to be studiedthis fic was soooo interesting from the begining sentences to the very end, op keeps you on your toes man😭😭
the love you can tell was put into this is phenomenal, it’s pouring out of it
i was bawling my eyes out after the first full flashback (the harbor one) and was like man i gotta go through this 4 more times??? i did indeed fully sob not only all 5 times, but several other points in the fic. thank you op for teaching me that you’re never truly as dehydrated as you think you arethey were seriously just so in love..i will find you in every variation of ourselves and love you eternally….please shoot me dead
i gotta be honest i was most certainly cursing ops entire bloodline a good handful of times. dude last chapter i was like this angst with a happy ending tag is holding on BY A THREAD. and lord was it.the whole “i will make ready the fires of hell for you shall soon follow” and ‘if it’s witches they want, they witches they shall get’ part was so fuckinf cool. banger lines too like wow.. unfiltered rage (reminded me minutely of aggie prenderghast (paranorman))
every aspect of the witchcraft stuff was super fun and i could tell op had a lot of fun writing it and putting all that stuff pen to paper like wow…so epic… it’s really cool seeing the unholyverse inspirations even if they’re unintentional as well
frank was just being such a big idiot in the last chapter and i was like god i need someone to smack some sense into him ik he has to work through his feelings and stuff but c’mon CMON i was lamenting about what a stupid stubborn idiot he was to jas then there’s an entire paragraph about him being like im a fuckinf idiot. they’re gonna give me an award that says STUPIDEST MOTHERFUCKER ALIVE and i was like wow i’ve never felt more justified in a fic LMAO. cuz that’s what i fucking said bro stop being an idiot please i need you guys to be happy forever 🙁🙁🙁
more points of me bawling my eyes out was frank finding out gerard is cut contact and straight out of town. franks conversation w his mom. when he unloaded the postcards. and franks speech about being in love w gerard at the end which holy fucking hell had me absolutely sobbing like a fuckinf baby because from the first sentence and the next i was like this sounds like juno’s speech (in the movie Juno) and i read franks words w the same like incantation as juno says her words in the movie and dude i love that movie and oh god i’ve been a mess for the past who knows how long over this like it has never been more over oh my god😭😭

hitting the kudos button like this fic didn’t just flay me alive. having to take all my incoherent inconsolable thoughts and organize them into a bookmark like im not still bawling my eyes out. okay
anywho i feel like i have so much more to say and there’s like so much energy buzzing under my skin from this fic. the characterization is so fun and the plot is sooo interesting, keeps you hooked continually, the dynamics are all so silly, the dialouge is so natural and human, the love that gee and frank hold for eachroher is just. like so much. it’s overflowing from the words and text on screen. they truly are literally soul bound, even when the curse was broken that’s just How They Are, they’re eachothers other half and and oouhhggh shoot me dead
i really enjoyed this fic. it was a lot of fun and wow if i wasn’t dehydrated before i definetly am now.
this fic went by a lot faster than i realized it was, i wasn’t even looking at chapters i was just reading wow the story is just so immersive. wow i have like so much more i want to say but all the words have left me and my brain is fried. i really like this fic it’s really good it’s amazing read the fic ooohhh read the fucking fic 🕯️🕯️🕯️
