Alma is a 16 year old trainer just starting out on her adventure. Wanting to make a name for herself by becoming Pokémon Champion and wishing to solve the mystery behind her father's disappearance, she sets out from Nuvema Town to collect all eight gym badges of the Unova region and finally challenge the Pokémon League, making new friends along the way. But when the region's fate becomes uncertain after a terrorist group jeopardizes everyone's safety, she comes to realize that some issues are much bigger than her, and she'll need all the help she can get to make it out alive.

For Langa, the answer’s easy. It’s not a thing, but rather a person. Reki, the stranger who patiently treated his wounds and helped him stand on his own two feet again. Reki, the friend whose smile can light up an entire room. Reki, his partner, who deserves to know exactly how much Langa appreciates and cares about him.
Or, his mom is out of town so Langa invites Reki over for a weekend of nothing but food, movies, and love.

"Hey." Langa startles a little when Reki kicks his side. Why would he do that? No idea, but it’s how they communicate, so Langa doesn't complain. Stopped a while ago. At this point, he lets Reki do his thing and enjoys his silent company. Most of the time.
People get a lot of things wrong about Langa's best friend. Because yes, Reki can be loud, wild, almost obnoxious. But he is also collected, focused, and sometimes almost introverted in the way he approaches things.
Not right now, though. Right now, Reki wants something, and he will pursue his dreams until he gets what he wants. So Langa moves onto his side and blinks. "Hm?"
"Sometimes … do you sometimes wonder what happens … after?"

Summary
Bright lights adorned the vanities that lined the walls, reflecting in the mirrors in a way that Ann needed to adjust to. Pushing herself to sit up, she recognized her place of rest not as the bed, but a cot pushed up against the wall of the curious room. The walls were a cushioned blue, which was already odd, but stranger still was Ann's new attire—a shimmery velvet dress that she most certainly did not own.
"Good evening," greeted a voice, deep and gruff, drawing Ann's attention toward the figure sitting at a desk in the middle of the room.
His desk appeared to be a vanity of sorts as well, but where a mirror should be there was only an open space, functioning more as a frame than as a proper dressing table. Beside him stood a young girl—perhaps some years younger than Ann—who simply stood at attention, silent. The strange man regarded Ann with an off-putting grin, propping his chin up on the backs of his hands. "Welcome to the Velvet Room."
