__“Last chance, Agatha” Lilia said, adjusting her necklace again. “Are you sure about this?”
Agatha looked at her. She knew Lilia wasn’t asking about The Heiress , or the assistant with the interesting name, or the entire play at all. She was asking if Agatha was sure she wanted to take on one of the most powerful, murderous CEOs in the state, with an inexperienced team that was uncoordinated talent on their best day.
Agatha smiled faintly, a real one, and smoothed down her lapels. “This is what we do now, isn’t it?” she said. “We don’t have a choice.”
“No,” said Lilia. She studied her for a moment, surprised at Agatha’s candor. “I don’t suppose we do.”

Rio is the one to roll her eyes when the woman looks down at her watch again. It’s no fun if she isn’t engaging. “So… who’s the lucky date?”
“What does it matter to you?” she snaps, and Rio does roll her eyes again, right in front of her. The goal is to set her off, isn’t it? And the woman is getting on her nerves.
“Well, I know what daisies mean. It’s thoughtful,” Rio explains. “They’re… pure. They signify new beginnings. You’re dressed well, and you’re impatient. The date must mean enough to you. And you want this bouquet to be nice, don’t you? So tell me more.”
Or,
Rio owns the local flowershop, and she can't help but be curious about her newest customer. Agatha shows every week, needing flowers to bring to her dates, and... Rio is interested, even when it should be a massive red flag.
