   Summary

   Zelda sent Link back in time to reclaim his lost years and prevent the mistake that led Hyrule to ruin. But when the young hero returns, he finds Ganondorf one step ahead of them again. Forewarned by a mysterious wizard who claims he can see the course of fate, he evades the trap the Hylians have laid for him, and returns to the west to build an alliance from the fractured Gerudo clans while seeking a new way to enter the Sacred Realm.

   Fearing Ganondorf's revenge, and mistrustful of his own intrigue-riddled court, Zelda's father sends her to hide in a remote mountain village. There, by chance, she befriends a tavern worker's daughter whose odd necklace might be the key to changing all their destinies.
