Summary
The Lightning War was done as quickly as it had come.
As the world lays in tatters, the Northern Water Tribe retreats back to the North Pole to lick its wounds, and the Air Acolytes- led by Tenzin and his family- help the Earth Federation and Fire Nation war refugees acclimate to their temporary homes even as storms brew on the horizon.
The Krew are in the chaotic streets of Makapu City, the center of trade and commerce that grew from Yue Bay during Aang's lifetime. Mako and Bolin work in lucrative fields around the city, helping citizens where they can and gaining clout amidst seedy gangs and corrupt officials that seem to propagate the city. Asami has staked her claim as the Queen of Progress, rebuilding the shattered parts of Makapu that were torn apart by war into gleaming visions of the future. Korra, as the Avatar, is 'on call' with any disaster that springs up while also trying to solve the mystery of the vines.
One night, she finds something strange that begins to stir up stranger questions, leading to some of the strangest music that seems to further polarize the citizens of Makapu City.
