[Riot: So who wants to hang out after our performance at the cultural festival? I mean there will probably be lots of games and stuff we can all do something.]
[Pinkkkk: Sure! I'd love to play some of the boardwalk games and so on]
[Tape: I'd go but crazy rides make me a little bit dizzy]
[Pikachu: weakling.]
[Pinkkkk: Me too dw we can stay on the boardwalk or something]
[Pikachu: you're both weaklings.]
[KingXplode: that's raw facts. fuckin weaklings can't go on rides made for men.]
[Riot: So,,, Mina, Kaminari and maybe Sero?]
[Riot: And Bakugou hbu]
[KingXplode: what about me?]
[Riot: Are you coming to the festival with us?]
[Tape: I'm coming ig.]
[KingXplode: whatever when is it?]
[Riot: After our set so like 11 am or something.]
[KingXplode: aight ig]
[Riot: Ok, see you guys there.]
The time passed and they performed at the festival. Afterward their squad ended up meeting outside the carnival.
"Everybody here?" Mina looks around for the others, "Where's Bakugou?"
Everybody simultaneously turns to Kirishima
"Why am I expected to know? Am I the Bakugou tracker or something?"
Kaminari shrugged, "Well you're the only person in this group that knows where he goes when he's not with us at lunch."
"That's.... actually true."
"Whatever, do you know where he is or not?"
"Where I am?" Bakugou strolled over to them,
"I'm right here you idiots."
"You're late,"
"Late enough not to care. Now let's go. We're going on rides that aren't for weaklings only," He leads his friends into the park
"Wait! But we need wristbands!" Mina exclaims.
"She's right, let's get them at the booth. Our class gets free wristbands for winning at the sports festival. We just need our IDs." Kirishima adds as he walks up to the ticket booth, "5 1-A wristbands please"
"Here you go," The attendant says as she hands his the bracelets, "Enjoy!"
Kirishima handed everybody their wristbands before putting on his own.
"Why the hell are these so slippery? Did somebody spill water on them or something?" Bakugou said, trying to put his wristband on, "It's like only people with 4 hands are allowed to put this damn thing on!"
Kirishima walked over and simply clasped it around his wrist, "You just have slippery hands."
Bakugou glared before continuing to walk with the others.
"Let's try this first," Kirishima pointed to the Gravitron ride, "We can all ride that, right?"
"As long as I don't electrocute it by accident"
"Then let's go!" Kirishima jogged over to the ride and they all went on.
"What if I fly off or something? What if the ride stops?" Mina fiddles with the flimsy harness
"I can just restart the ride. It's not even that dangerous." Kaminari shrugs
"But people have died on carnival rides-"
"Because they're stupid."
"Says the dumbass," Bakugou turns to them, "If you're scared of this then I can't imagine how you'll act once we get to the zipper."
"I'm not going on whatever that 'zipper' thing is then!" Mina puts up air quotes
"Because you're a scaredy cat! And if you wouldn't go on the zipper, you'd die on slingshot"
"The ride is about to start. Please lean back and enjoy the ride." The attendant boomed over the speakers.
The ride began and spun the group around and around, as they all did their various shenanigans. Eventually, the ride stopped, and after being scolded by the operator, they continued with the carnival.
"Bakugou, I specifically told you not to climb the walls but you did anyway," Kaminari sighs.
"Shut up, Pikachu, it didn't kill anybody."
"It killed our chance to ride again!"
"Who cares, it wasn't even that good of a ride."
"How about..." He points up to a free fall ride, "The mighty drop"
"Hit me with your best shot!" They all head over to the ride.
Mina turns to the others, "After this can we just go to the games or something?"
"I'm already a bit hungry," Kirishima adds
"You dumbasses just don't want to be on rides because you're afraid of heights or something." Bakugou rolls his eyes
"As if. I'll do the zipper after this if you're quiet for long enough."
"It's on. You won't even last a second. Pikachu, rest of you, you're also riding it like it or not."
"But I hate scary rides!" Mina whines
"You're chicken, Mina?" Kaminari teases
"No, I just really don't enjoy being placed in a cage and spun uncontrollably. Especially when the only thing stopping the cage from flying off is a few screws and the hope that if it flys off somebody with a useful quirk will catch it."
"Yeah same, there is no way I'm going to be going on that of all things." Sero looks across the pathway at the zipper
"We're going on it, you don't have a choice" Bakugou insists as the ride begins.
"This ride is so predictable," Kaminari shrugs, "It's going to drop... Now"
He points just as the ride drops them, right before suddenly stopping to lift them up.
"How'd you do that?" Sero asks
"It's easy when you an feel the electricity course through the ride."
"Is that a thing?"
"A little bit. But I ride these all the time that they don't scare me. I could have a casual conversation on here if anything." He shrugs
"Can't everybody?" Kirishima laughs, "This ride is child's play."
"And onto the zipper" Bakugou smirks as the ride finishes, "You're all coming, right?"
"No," Sero mutters
"What did you just say, soy sauce?"
"Yes!" he said quickly
"Who's in whose cars though?" Kirishima looked around, "We can't have everybody that's scared in the same car, right?"
"I'm taking Sero. I want to see his reaction of pure terror throughout this whole thing. It'll be hilarious!" Kaminari laughs
"I'm not going to be scared that bad," Sero crosses his arms, "You'd think I'm a lost puppy."
"And Mina with-" Kirishima starts
"Nobody, because I'm sitting this one out." Mina sat on the bench they all stood around
"Because you're scared?" Bakugou teased
"No, because I'm going to grab a funnel cake from the food stands"
"We're all grabbing food after this ride."
"There's an odd number of people"
"Then I'll go twice."
"No, because I'm not riding it"
"That's stupid. Kirishima, you're riding with me"
"You're quick to decide," Kirishima smiles, "It has to be me, huh?"
"Yeah because I'm not going to be trapped in a car with giant phone charger or scotch tape for more than 5 minutes. And it's cramped as fuck."
"Not like I wanted to be in the car with you anyway," Kaminari shrugs.
"Shut it. Shitty hair, let's get to the ride before the extras fill up that empty car." Bakugou walks over to the ride and goes directly into the empty car, bypassing even the operator, "Don't act like a bitch on this ride. Not that I think you will, but just to make sure."
"You already know how I am with rides!" Kirishima laughs, "Whatever you enjoy, I'll probably be fine with. Carnival rides are pretty easy anyway."
The ride starts and they begin spinning in the car, metal screeching in their ears as it goes round and round. Eventually, it stops and they hang upside down.
"You use so much hairspray that even sitting upside down your hair doesn't move, eh?" He puts a hand out to touch it, "Seriously, what the hell would you use to keep it like that?"
"The will that it won't go down? Yours looks funny upside down," He laughs
"Shut up, shitty hair"
"Says the guy that was just trying to touch my hair 30 seconds ago"
"That didn't happen"
"It did." He says just as the ride starts again.
They go around the ride again and then hop off to get some food.
"How did your car go?" Kirishima asks Sero and Kaminari as they get off the ride.
Sero stumbles to a bench and lays down, "I am not going on the zipper again no matter how much any of you try to convince me."
Kaminari sat on the back of the bench, "He was screaming like 'ahhhh' and then held onto the bar for dear life. Meanwhile, I was just chilling on my phone recording him. Check the chat."

"Stopppp," Sero begs, grabbing at the phone.
"It's like a toddler crying for his mother," Bakugou says as he watches the video, "Anyway, we should grab some food."
"I'm starving" Mina begins walking to the food line, as Bakugou, Kirishima and Kaminari follow along.
"What do you guys want?" Kaminari views the menu, "Fired Oreos, corn dogs, hot dogs, funnel cake, cotton candy, popcorn, and french fries.
"I'm getting a funnel cake, I've been dying for one."
"I'm getting 2 hot dogs and a fried oreo. Easy."
"I'll get..." Kirishima starts, "Popcorn, a corn dog, and cotton candy?"
"Seriously? A cotton candy?" Bakugou turns to him, "I'm taking a piece."
"You like cotton candy?" Kaminari gasps, "The all-around demon likes cotton candy?"
"Shut up spark, I'll order whatever I want when we get to the window."
"Well, sir you're at the window so now might be a nice time to order," The cashier impatiently says.
"Fuck off, give me a corn dog. Kirishima, I'm stealing from your popcorn" Bakugou steps aside to allow the others to order.
The cashier goes back and hands them their food, "Here you go."
"Sero! I got you a hot dog since you didn't want to get up to eat," Kaminari hands him the hot dog
"I'm still so dizzy dude. Why do they make rides like that?"
"For natural selection to see who can actually ride them without getting dizzy." Bakugou shrugs
"At least I don't eat corn dogs," He retorts
"Hot dogs are literally the same thing, just one is vertical."
"Anyway, did you guys have fun?" Mina says cheerfully
"Yeah. I still can't believe you didn't do the zipper with us. That was the best ride of all!" Kirishima laughs.
"I mean yeah it might have been the best but I didn't want to end up like poor Sero over here," Mina throws a piece of the funnel cake at him, "He's like a beached whale"
"That's not true, I just can't stand," Sero sighs, "I'm fine"
"See? Didn't want to end up like that. What time is it?"
Kirishima quickly checks the time on his phone, "4:30. Didn't they want us back to the festival at 5 for whatever parade thing they had planned?"
"Yeah. I'm probably going to hit a few games on the side and get a head start now since I have a dance sequence with a few kids from 1-B."
"I'm staying behind with Sero so he doesn't end up throwing up in a ditch or something." Kaminari laughs
"I'll see you guys later! Don't be late to the parade by the way, Mic wouldn't be happy with that." Mina waves to them and skips away.
"Seriously?" Bakugou takes a handful of popcorn, "I never knew she had the ability to be on time."
"You were the last one here though," Kaminari points out
"But I was technically on time. I don't care for being on time either way."
"But you're first to class pretty much every day"
"Yeah, only extras are late to class."
"Who decides who is and isn't an extra?"
"I do."
"We should get going," Kirishima looks up, "Also you keep hitting my hand in the popcorn box."
"I know." Bakugou smugly responds.
"Then-" Kirishima looks to him in confusion.
"I'll tell you on the way," Bakugou rolls his eyes.
Kirishima knows. Well, he thinks he knows. Bakugou's going to ask him out. Or maybe it was just hopeful thinking on his part. He knew exactly how he would answer. Bakugou had always had to be oblivious to how Kirishima felt. But Kirishima read him just like an open book.
"Shouldn't you guys get going? Mina did say not to be late..." Sero looks up at them, finally sitting up.
"You know what, he's right. Let's go," Bakugou decided. He didn't want to change his mind before he could do it. He wanted to just bite the bullet and get it done.
They both began walking on the way back to the main festival, still sharing the popcorn.
"So... What'd you want to say about the popcorn?"
"It's weird. Should I even say it?" Bakugou sighs
"Why not? It's chill. We're chill."
"Whatever... I have something to say. It's so stupid and not even really the way I should feel but... I guess I do. You can yell at me, hit me, whatever but it's been like this for a while and I don't want to keep you in the dark for any longer." Bakugou pauses, "Are you ready? You might want to get ready to run or something..."
"What's up?" He turns to Bakugou, who is looking at his shoes more than where they're headed to.
"I think I like guys."
"That's perfectly fine! You know-" Kirishima starts.
"But the guy I like is also the one that's closest to me. And it's the worst."
"Well, who is it?" Kirishima smiles in anticipation
Bakugou blushes slightly and looks to him, "It's..." He pauses, "It's you."
"It's me?" Kirishima blushes, "Bakugou-"
"And I know it's stupid! I know I fucking suck for falling for you, my dumbass best friend, but I shouldn't be keeping it from you. You're always there for me and I understand if you want to hit me or call me a fag or whatever but-"
"Bakugou," Kirishima puts a hand to his chest, "Stop, you're spiraling. I need to tell you something."
"What is it?" Bakugou looks down again
"I like you too."
Bakugous eyes widen, "You do?"
"I've been gay my whole life. It's okay. Don't be upset. I understand that this might be confusing but you'll live and you'll learn. It's not about what others think. It's about what you think."
Bakugou slightly smiles, "Really?"
"I know it's cliche or sappy or whatever, but never second guess yourself. Don't doubt yourself. We don't need to dive in head first. We don't need to even date until you're ready but... I like you too, and whenever you're comfortable with it, I'd love to be yours."
Bakugou hugs him, "Thank you... Thank you so much."
Kirishima blushes and smiles, "No, thank you for being so brave."
"So... Cotton candy?" Bakugou grabs at it and takes a bite.
"Yeah. Cotton candy." Kirishima says as they go to bite into it at the same time.
