Summary
[ It was common knowledge that 5 great sects ruled the cultivation world. Each was identifiable by their clan’s proud mammalian features. The headstrong Jiangs were comprised of lynxes; the ascetic Lans consisted of rabbits; the fierce Nies were formed by bears; the arrogant Jins produced peacocks; the duplicitous Wens were represented by cougars. Each clan member had ears, tails, claws and feathers to mark their heritage. Only clan members from the sect had such features. Normal humans could only watch in envy and revere those heritages as godly traits. However, much to everyone’s lack of knowledge, there was a 6th addition to these proud cultivation sects. One cultivator was gifted the spirit of a fox by the gods. She was well known in the cultivation world; A mother figure to all her disciples alike; an immortal of endless knowledge whose teachings were considered a gem so rare— Baoshan Sanren. Whispers told of her altruism towards her beloved disciples, rumoring to go so far as to gift some of her fox blood to them so that they may pass it on in the future. Rumors were just rumors— that is, until a certain Jiang sect leader brought home a boy with fiery orange ears and a bushy tail. ]
