now that he finally managed to get sarawat alone, he realized he was way more nervous than he should have been.
"what do you really want? make it fast, i don't have time for this," the guitarist said, sounding bored.
"well.. uh... can you - you know-" tine looked lost for a moment, looking at sarawat as if the other boy could read his thoughts, so he wouldn't have to say them out loud. sarawat raised his eyebrows, waiting for tine to continue, strangely enjoying seeing him struggle. the boy looked visibly anxious, and sarawat could see the process of his cheeks turning redder and redder, finding it annoyingly cute.
what am i doing, im acting like a damn damsel in distress. fuck it, here goes nothing, tine thought.
"can you be my boyfriend?" wait-
"huh?!" sarawat exclaimed, clearly taken aback.
"w-wait, i mean my fake boyfriend! not actual boyfriend!" tine hurried to explain.
sarawat took a good, long look at him then, eyebrows furrowed. "what's this about?"
tine sighed. that was better than an outright rejection, at least. "i need to get rid of this guy that's been following me around. he likes me, and he said he didn't care if i didn't like him back, that i'll change my mind eventually. i told him i won't, but he wouldn't leave me alone." saying this out loud, tine realized that his problem was a bit childish, but if he saw green waiting for him one more time after school he would go crazy.
sarawat pondered on this for a moment. then, as if a great idea struck him, "what do i get if i help you?" he inquired.
"well... since this is a favor you'd be doing for me, just say what you want. if it's possible, i'll try my best to do it for you."
this seemed to pique sarawat's interest. he gave tine a full body once-over and stepped closer to him. "have you had your first kiss yet?" as he asked this, his lips seemed to curve up at one corner. tine's eyes widened. why does this asshole want to know this all of a sudden...
the thing is, while it's true that tine has had a lot of girlfriends, he never actually kissed any of them, not even a little peck. he thought a first kiss is a special one, so he didn't want to lose it to one of his many flings, as great as they all seemed while he was with each one of them.
"i haven't. why?" tine replied, suspicious.
"that's cute. how about letting me do the honors then, hm?" sarawat asked, leaning even closer to tine.
"what?! why would you want that, out of all things? what the hell, no way."
"alright then, i obviously won't force you," the taller boy lingered for a moment, his gaze stopping on tine's lips, making the boy unconsciously lick them. his eyes then slowly trailed upwards, meeting tine's widened ones. the silence was unbearable, but tine didn't dare to break it. he swallowed, the sound seeming loud to his own ears. sarawat smirked, distanced himself from the wall and simply turned away. "goodbye."
wh - huh???
"what? won't you help me?"
"i told you, i'll only help you if you can do something for me in return. you said you won't do it, so i'm not helping you either. pretty simple, no?" his raised eyebrow and tone was oh so subtly mocking, tine starting to get annoyed.
"listen here, asshole. i didn't save my first kiss until college only to have it stolen from me like this, okay? just choose something else, i promise i'll do it," tine bargained.
"no."
"you - you're impossible."
"maybe so," sarawat shrugged. "like i said, that's what i want. if you don't want my help anymore, then feel free to leave, no one's making you do anything you don't want to."
tine weighed his pros and cons. getting sarawat as a fake boyfriend didn't necessarily mean green would leave him alone, but it sure as hell increased those chances. now, about that first kiss... tine properly looked at sarawat for the first time. yeah, he was handsome, anyone with eyes could see that. his eyebrows were defined, his eyes looked like melted chocolate, especially with the rays of the sunset reflecting in them, like right now. his lips were plump and... kissable. ugh... whatever, at least he's hot.
"fine. i'll kiss you. but you'll absolutely have to help me, deal? and that involves doing all the realistic things couples do."
"of course, i don't back out of a deal," sarawat said, getting closer once again, making tine involuntarily back away until he reached the edge of a wooden table. the guitarist put his hands beside tine's hips on the table, leaning down until only centimeters separated them. "is this okay?" he gently asked.
tine gulped. is it?
"yeah."
the shorter boy wanted to get it over with, but sarawat never closed the distance. they were simply looking at each other, the warm air blowing through their hair, bringing along the smell of freshly bloomed roses.
"are you sure you want to do this?" sarawat asked, concern evident in his voice. he wanted to make sure the boy wouldn't regret this later. "if you really want to, i can help you regardless, you don't-"
sarawat was cut off by tine's lips on his, a simple pressure that seemed to freeze in place as soon as they touched. when the taller boy realized what was happening, he started kissing back, gently leading the way and guiding tine's lips along, sliding a hand towards his hair and playing with the locks at the back of his neck. they both closed their eyes, enjoying the tender moves of their lips against one another's.
sarawat's other hand made its way to tine's thigh, leaning on it, and tine placed his own hand on top of it. sarawat lightly squeezed it, which resulted in a tiny gasp from tine, allowing sarawat to slip his tongue beside the other boy's, making him moan cutely at the unexpected intrusion. sarawat slowly explored tine's mouth, listening to his every breath to see if he was uncomfortable, however tine seemed to have gotten lost in the sensation.
sarawat then gingerly pulled on tine's hair, hearing him whimper, and pulled away before he would get too into it, but not before placing one more tiny kiss to the corner of tine's mouth. the shorter boy looked at him confused for a second before he remembered why they were even kissing in the first place. he quickly turned away, hiding his rosy cheeks, and sarawat couldn't help but smile. that kiss truly felt way too short, despite it being more of a make out session than a kiss. tine did indeed regret something. not kissing sarawat, no, but the fact that he hadn't kissed anyone sooner. if he knew it would feel like that... or maybe that was just because of the person he was kissing? nah, it can't have been... can it?
"what do you think? was it bad for a first kiss?"
"don't ask questions you know the answer to, asshole," tine replied, angrily walking away. "are you coming or not? i think the guy i told you about might already be waiting for me."
sarawat chuckled to himself and followed tine. "whatever you say, boyfriend."
