   Summary

   Hawks knows his back isn’t enough for people to feel safe. For all of his speed and his hardened heart, he isn’t strong enough.

   Endeavor’s shoulders are broad, much more than his own, but also heavy - they do carry the weight of the country after all.

   But even then, Hawks knows Endeavor can’t compare to All Might. Well, nobody can, not even Toshinori Yagi himself can fill All Might’s shoes anymore. How could Endeavor ever be expected to?

   And yet, Hawks believes in him. Maybe, just maybe, if he spreads his wings over Endeavor’s back, their shadow will be wide enough for people to feel at ease.
