He stared at the top of Ken's head, the little bit of his face he could see from this angle, and then Ken turned and looked up at him, his royal-blue eyes so big and beautiful and absolutely mesmerizing. Daisuke had to stop himself from dipping low and slotting their mouths together and learning what that part of Ken felt like too.
"Can I?" he whispered.
Ken nodded. "Please."
Daisuke brought his free hand closer, pressed it flat over Ken's heart, and felt the same fast beat that filled his own chest. They were in sync, together just how he always wanted them to be, and he shut his eyes to feel the connection pulse and throb under his fingertips.
