Summary
When Castiel sacrificed himself to the empty, he didn’t do it expecting to be rescued.
He didn’t expect to wake up six months later in Heaven, looking up at Jack, surrounded by all of the angels who ever lived.
He didn’t expect the choice their new God would give him, give all the angels.
He didn’t expect to have to call Sam to pick him up, because Dean was too drunk to answer his phone.
As far as reunions go, Castiel certainly didn’t expect it to go like this.
