“MAMMMMOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOON!!!”
There was never a good reason that someone would be shouting his name, so it wasn’t surprising that Mammon had startingly jumped in his spot on the dining table.
“Uh-oh, time to r- wait….” Then, recognizing your voice, he called out to you, unsure of your motives but wanting to give you the benefit of the doubt not to hurt him.
For a few seconds, all he could hear was the sound of rushing footsteps before the dining-room door flew open.
Typically, whenever someone was shouting his name and running at him, it meant he was about to be pummeled and cussed at simultaneously.
Though, as you busted through the dining room doors, you didn’t have an angry expression on, nor were you spouting curses, it was quite the opposite. Mammon only had time to stand up from his seat before you jumped onto him with a bright smile and boisterous giggles, dropping your school bags in the process.
He caught you with ease, barely even stumbling backwards as he grabbed onto your legs to hold you up.
“Mammon! I missed you!” You barely let him catch a breath as you pressed frivolous kisses, uncaring of which place they landed on his face.
“Ya-” *smack smack* “- saw me-” *smack* “- This mornin’!” *smack smack smack*
Now he was starting to stumble around from the overwhelming and sudden affection. You pulled back from smothering him with kisses and jumped down from his hold. Though you still stood with your arms around his neck and his on your waist. “Still missed you~” You laughed out as you blinded him with a bright smile.
Mammon could feel his heart explode, and he was sure his face looked as much on fire as it felt.
At first, he wondered if this was some prank pulled together by one of his brothers just to get him riled up, but with the way you hugged him fiercely enough to make him sit back down in the chair he had been lounging in, the idea vanished from his mind.
“Alright, what’s got ya’ all riled up and smiley?”
You had your head nuzzled into his neck at this point. He could feel you murmur into his neck, which did nothing to cool the heat in his face.
“Can’t I be excited to see my first man?”
Mammon pulled your head from his shoulder, giving you a red-faced grin. “Well, I guess it can’t be helped…” His eyes trailed down to your lips. “But I’m gonna’ need some more convincin’, c’mere and show Mammon some more love!”
