Tenya Ida was the sixth, he was at the library when he disappeared, his brother filed the missing person report, after that the disappearances seemed to be getting more attention.
Ochaco Uraraka was the seventh, she was working her part-time job at a convenience store when she diapered, there was camera footage this time, or there would have been if the cameras didn’t glitch out when she disappeared.
The eighth was Mashirao Ojiro, he was on the train to the dojo when he disappeared.
The ninth was Toru Hagakure, she’s invisible, it’s unclear where she was when she disappeared.

The sixteenth was Mezo Shoji, he was babysitting his neighbor’s daughter at the park.
The seventeenth was Momo Yaoyorozu, she was at home. Police and heroes searched but couldn’t find any sign of forced entry.
The first sign of struggle was Shoto Todoroki, he was the eighteenth and disappeared from home.
Katsuki Bakugo was the nineteenth and disappeared on his way home from the arcade.
Fumikage Tokoyami was on a walk when it happened, he was the twentieth.
Kota Izumi was watching the news of his parent’s deaths when he disappeared. He was the twenty-first.
Shota Aizawa, better known as the hero Eraser Head, was one of the heroes investigating the disappearances. He was on patrol when he became the twenty-second.
As far as the world knew Eri didn’t exist. She wasn’t on any records and Overhaul kept her as big of a secret as he could. One day the door creaked open, there weren’t any footsteps or breathing but someone was there she could see them. There were three figures, one was the size of an adult, the other was her size ant the third was in between.
The smallest one approached slowly while the others stayed behind, the adult left for a moment, she almost didn’t notice because of the lack of sound. She looked at the person approaching her with fear which quickly turned to shock. It was a boy her age with black hair and black eyes. He wore a dirty white shirt and black shorts, he had black boots that matched his hair. The thing that stood out the most was the red hat with two yellow horns on his head. He looked at her in the eyes and offered his hand, she hesitated for a moment before taking it.
That night Overhaul and his minions searched the city and the compound in rage looking for the girl but couldn’t find a trace.
Chapter 2: ghosts
Chapter Text
When her son disappeared, Inko didn’t notice, she was always at work or busy avoiding him that she didn’t notice his absence until a month later when she smelled the rotting food in the fridge. She marched to his room only to find him not there, the dust in there seemed to be months old and the curtains were wet from the rain last night. She concluded that he ran away and would come crawling back when he became desperate, only after seeing the missing person reports for missing teenagers did she start doubting her conclusion.
Then it happened, or maybe it didn’t she couldn’t be sure herself. She was on her way home when she spotted a mop of green hair, one she hasn’t seen in almost two years, she ignored it, but she kept seeing it day after day after day, she even ran into it at the supermarket, once she saw the face she couldn’t deny it, it was Izuku, but the boy stared at her in confusion and didn’t make a sound, he was so quiet that if it wasn’t for him moving that she’d think he was dead.
“Izuku?” she asked confused. The boy stared in shock before running away not a sound was heard except for her heavy breathing. She ran into him a few times after that, but he never spoke or made any sound, no footsteps, no breathing, no rustling of clothing, nothing, just complete silence like a ghost of her past haunting her.
Samidare Asui was a quiet kid, he rarely talked at school, ever since his sister disappeared the bullying got worse, but he did his best he had to take care of Satsuki. One day almost two years after his sister’s disappearance he was looking out the classroom window when he noticed a girl that looked identical to his older sister. It was like seeing a ghost because dear Kami was pale.
Mitsuki Bakugo was visiting her mother’s grave when she spotted a kid that looked the spitting image of her, the second he noticed her he ran like the wind.
Mika Jiro was looking at old pictures on her phone at the park when a purple-haired girl with earphone jacks caught her sight.
There weren’t a lot of things that could surprise Natsuo Todoroki, but his brother disappearing was a shock he wasn’t prepared for. Fuyumi’s mental decline was a stress he could barely handle. She’d often call him saying how she saw Shoto somewhere, it got to the point where he insisted that they move in together so he could keep an eye on her. He looked outside the train window, he noticed a boy with red and white hair split in the middle, he blinked, and the boy was gone, like a ghost. Maybe he wasn’t as well as he pretended to be.
Iwa Koda was watching her son’s rabbit hop around the rabbit when she noticed it stop in the middle of the garden and stare at the fence. When she looked at the fence, she flatlined, she saw her son, her baby boy standing there. She ran up to him, to hug him but he seemed scared he ran, her baby was scared of her.
Mitsu and Hantou Hagakure didn’t take their daughter's disappearance well, they threw themselves into work often overworking themselves. Sometimes the mental tole was too much, they once saw an invisible person and had mental breakdowns right after.
Moroshi Ojiro did his best when searching for his son, his position as a detective gave him access to resources he wouldn’t have in any other career, his wife Chiyuuki threw herself into police work every second of the day, it got to the point where the chief demanded they take a break. One day he saw a blonde kid with a tail across the street, he was ready to run after him, but the kid disappeared before he could get the chance.
Teashi Shoji was many things but first and foremost he was a father, and his son was missing, there wasn’t a feeling he could compare to his son missing and watching his wife turn to alcohol as a coping mechanism. The worst part was seeing his son’s figure standing in the hallway, his clothes tattered and burnt, the image haunting him before he disappeared.
Nabu Middle School wasn’t the most popular school in Japan, it had lots of bullying problems and quirk discrimination, but a horror the students and staff would never forget was the pale purple-haired kid that disappeared two years ago wandering the hallways. A few tried to approach him, but he vanished, they tried looking for him but all the cameras glitched out.
Electra is a pro hero known for her quick thinking and quick takedowns, but when her son Denki disappeared, she poured into work to find him. She took down more human trafficking rings than any other hero, she arrested the most kidnappers and found the most missing children, her hero rank shot up dramatically, but she didn’t care. After a while she started teaming up with Ingenium and Present Mic more than anyone else, they both had somebody to find, Ingenium his brother, and Present Mic his husband. Sometimes she’d see a glimpse of him in the crowds but that was impossible Denki was missing, and she’ll find him.
When Tenya disappeared Tensei worked his damn hardest to find him, and then Shota disappeared. After two years he started to lose hope, one day he was sitting alone in his office thinking when he saw Tenya staring at him, his eyes cold and calculating.
“Tenya!” he shot up from his seat, but his brother was gone before he could blink.
Tepura Sero lived the perfect life, she was top of the class, had many friends, and was very popular, her quirk Mary Sue was a big contribution to that. And then her life wasn’t perfect, her brother disappeared, her grades dropped her friends ignored her. Suddenly her perfections became flaws, her friends became enemies. But she broke when she saw her little brother in a store, in the library, on the street, at the park. They called her crazy, made fun of her, locked her up, drugged her. The worst was seeing her parents, her expressions when she tells them, their lack of belief. They never believed her.
Panya-Bekari Sato remembered every recipe she baked with her son, every cake they ate together. Every cookie they made for the family. She remembered the ice cream she at when he disappeared, and the stress baking when she saw him out her window.
Hikari Tokoyami was reading a book at the library when she saw a familiar shadow that played with her every time, she was sad, her brother's shadow, something she missed for the last two years.
“Hikari, are you ready to go?” her mom asked.
“Coming mommy, do you think my quirk will come soon?” she. Asked.
“Maybe, you’re almost five, it should be coming any time soon,”
Jobusa Kirishima was at the gym when he saw a boy with spiky black hair and red roots, the red eyes were something he’d never forget, his son was alive, but the look in those eyes told a different story.
Kirakira Aoyama hated shopping, her son disappeared while she wasn’t looking and all that was left were the disregarded shopping bags. She looked through the store window and spotted someone she never thought she would, she ran into the street, but he was gone before she got there.
Sando Ashido looked through her family photo album when she noticed a pink figure from the window.
‘I miss you sweetie,’
Aki Uraraka looked over the construction site and the figure that loomed just barely in sight. Her daughter, the one who disappeared two years ago watching her work, a distant look in her eyes that told her a story she didn’t want to hear.
Shino Sosaki looked at the forest with distant eyes, the last two years have been hard for her, her sister and brother-in-law died, and their son disappeared, the news of his parent’s deaths on the television but the kid was gone. After that one of her friends, Shota Aizawa disappeared while on a case that may or not be related to Kota’s disappearance. She looked at the trees when she noticed a small kid with a red hat sitting on a branch.
Okane Yaoyorozu was counting his money in his office when he heard the elevator ring, he looked up to see his missing daughter. She looked pale ghostly, her clothes that she was wearing the day she was taken were torn and tattered. Her eyes were fixated on the floor not meeting his eyes.
“Momo…?” his voice was so silent almost nobody heard. Their eyes met and she seemed more scared than he’s ever seen her he gets up, but her fear increases and she runs faster than he’s ever seen her. Her footsteps are silent not making a sound.
Hizashi closed the door to his apartment, his not theirs Shota wasn’t there, but he was. He was standing in the middle of the hallway with a little girl clutching his pant leg. He was silent, more than ever.
“Shota?” Hizashi put his hand out wanting to touch his husband.
Shota stayed quiet but didn’t stop him. The girl gripped him harder.
“Hi,” he managed to say, his voice stuck in his throat.
The girl looked up at him, “You can talk,”
“Of course, I can, what’s your name little one?”
“Eri,” her voice was so quiet it was a whisper.
“Shota where were you?” That must have been the wrong thing to say because Shota tensed and took Eri into his eyes.
“Already?” she asked, but the only answer he got was a nod before he started walking away.
“Shota wait!” Hizashi yelled after them, but they were already gone as soon as they left the door.
Eri was always unsure what to think of her saviors. There were twenty-two of them and they never talked, never made a sound. They were kind and protected her. Sometimes they’d make a sound and they’d be so happy, they didn’t have names, just numbers on their arms. But after spending two years with them she understood them in a way even the loud pink-haired girl could.
