    Link, the Hyrule hero and protector, is dead. And Zelda? Well now she no longer trusts in the goddess for protection and guidance.

    But the kingdom of Hyrule can't survive without either of those things. So Zelda continuous to pretend the goddess is a wonderful being and gives away her last remaining freedom so Hyrule can have a new protector... and King... and Husband...

    The Lord of Gerudo Desert, Ganondorf, once sent a letter with a contract. Zelda had shared it with Link and they'd both agreed it to be a silly idea... But the times have change and now she's agreed.

    Ganondorf isn't bad like Zelda had originally thought, and Zelda isn't as weakly annoying as Ganondorf had originally thought. But Ganondorf is selfish and Zelda has been only selfless. How can such opposites attract?
