Five years ago, the Winchester brothers were heralded as the greatest courtiers to ever gamble their honor, titles, and lives in the great game played at King Charles's court. Just before his untimely death, however, a series of scandals shook his court, and Dean and Sam Winchester retreated to the country.
Now, Charles's funeral is over, and his son, Castiel, has ascended to the throne and wants to summon the brothers back to court. But when the Winchesters return, they discover that the world has changed, and that they must change with it, or risk being lost in the past.
