Chapter 1: Normal Life Part 1

Chapter Text

Megatron

You sat angerly in your chair, your feet propped up on the desk infront of you. You blew a bubble from you gum. It poped, and you began chewing it once again. You were currently in detention. Again. For a totally unreasonable reason. Okay, maybe you shouldn't have hit him so hard. But he asked for it! Who is he? Vince is who. The arrogant A-hole that never failed to get on your nerves. He was lucky he got away with only a black eye and a broken nose this time. You've done and can do much worse. Now most people sat violence is not the answer, but it seems to be the only answer people listen to. At least in your Experience. And what did Vince do this time to Invoke your wrath? He decided it was a great idea to dump a whole jug of rotten milk on you during lunch time. Oh he payed for that right there in front of everyone else at the cafeteria. You may have gotten detention but if was so worth seeing his humiliation and being put in his place. The only unfair thing was that he never got detention for any of the bullshit he pulled, which pissed you off to no end. When detention ended, you swung your bag on one shoulder, and stomped out. Did you go over to a friend's place? No. Go home? No. Instead you headed over to the local gym. Jasper Nevada may be a small town, but it still had a fairly decent local gym. When you got there you spent hours like usual punching the shit out of the punching bags to vent out your anger and fustration. you decided to head home when the sun was starting to set. The walk home was uneventful, and when you got home you went straight to your room after grabbing some protein bars from the kitchen. You locked your door, and threw your bag down by your bed. You flopped onto your bed. You played some music on your phone and ate the protein bars. You really hated your life. You wished that something, anything would change. But of course that was just wishful thinking. You had no idea just how wrong you were.

Starscream

The bell signaling the end of school rang, and you quickly tried to make your way to your locker. The halls were crowded like usual, and you tried to stay out of everyone's way. You finally made it to your locker, but before you could open it a hand slammed down right next to your head. You gulped and slowly turned around. You clutched your text book and binder close to your chest, as you looked nervously up at Vince. You were quick to avert your eyes from his glare. This was almost a daily routine. Vince and his goons always found some reason to pick on you and lower your already low self esteem.

"Where's my geography report, pip squiek? You were supposed to give it to me at lunch, but I couldn't find you anywhere." He said angerly.

You have a small whimper in fear at his loud voice, and replied nervously.

"I-im s-sorry. I h-had to s-study for a t-test and i-i had to d-do a p-project so I c-couldn't finish it." You said stuttering due to your nervousness.

"I don't want to hear any excuses. If you don't have my report to me by tomorrow your gonna regret it. And if I don't get at least a B on it you will have he'll to pay. Got it?" Be said with a growl.

You quickly nodded your head in agreement, scared What'd he do if you didn't. He banged the locker next to you making you flinch, before he began walking off. You thought it was over but no. One of his jerk goons slapped your binder and text book out of your hnad. When your binder hit the floor it made your papers scatter everywhere. They walked of laughing as you just stood there frozen. When they left you let out a shakey breath of relief. You slowly bent down to start picking up your papers, when you saw someone kneel down and start helping you pick them up. It was Jack Darby from you science class.

"O-oh y-you don't h-ave to do that..." You said mumbled.

He looked at you with a smile.

"I know. But a want to help. " He said.

"O-oh. Thank you." You said with a small smile.

After you had picked up all your papers you put them all back in your binder and thanked jack again. You were about to leave when he spoke again.

"Hey, you know you shouldn't let those guys push you around like that." He said concerned.

"O-oh d-dont worry. I-im fine. A-at least t-this way I'm being u-usefull." You said with an akward smile.

"Are you sure?" He asked.

You nodded.

"Okay then... Well I'll see you around and let me now if you need any help." He said.

"T-thanks jack. I'll see y-you around." You said with a smile.

He nodded and left to head home. Once he was gone you sighed. Right. You were being useful for once so it was okay. You would be okay. You decided to head home quick to finish that project for Vince. Even though you told yourself you would be okay, you couldn't help but wish that something would change...

Soundwave

You were currently walking through the halls to your locker. Your mind was clouded. You couldn't believe you failed that test. You had on an expressionless face, not letting anyone see your hidden emotions. Across the hall 3 teens were watching you.

"You think she ever smiles?" Asked Jack.

Miko stuck out her tonge in annoyance.

"Who cares? She's just stuck up and always so serious! She no fun at all!" Said Miko annoyed.

"Miko you can't just say she's stuck up because she's at the top of all her classes. You don't even know her." Rafael reasoned.

"So she sure acts stuck up!" She argued.

"He has a point. What  makes you think she's stuck up anyway? You're acting like it's personal." Said Jack.

She groaned and put her hands on her hips.

"Because it is personal! I wanted to be friends, but when I went to say hi she just ignored me!" Said Miko.

"Well maybe she just didn't notice you?" Said Rafael.

"No she totally did! I could tell!" Shouted Miko.

Raf just sighed. Raf then looked back at you to see a group of students rudely shove by you, making all your papers and books fall to the floor. You didn't say anything, just thought that it was yet another inconvenience. You wouldn't let them get to you. Or at least not let them see that they did. You head them laugh and say "she's such a nerd. What a loser.". Don't let them get to you. You weren't a loser, right? You couldn't afford to be a failure. You bent down and started to pick up your things, when you noticed another pair of hand collecting your things. You looked up to see Rafael, or Raf, a kid in you math, science, and technology classes. Just like you he was at the top of the class. He gave you a small smile, and handed you your things. You both stood up and you were silent for a moment before you looked back at him.

"Thanks..." You said in a mumble but he heard it just fine.

He gave you a small smile and a nod. He knew you didn't talk much, but didn't know why. He decided to break the akward silence.

"Well up I saw your test. You did a good job! You got an A! That's better then mine. I got an A-. Haha." Said Raf.

"No it's not good. I'm supposed to get perfect, but I failed...." You mumbled under your breath but he heard.

"Hey! It's okay. It was a really hard test. I know what it's like having parents with such high standards. It's alot of pressure. " He said sympathetically.

You just nodded. He could tell you didn't want to talk about it so he just said goodbye and left. You sighed as you put your stuff in your locker. He had no idea what your parents were like. As dumb as hope and whishes were, a part of you couldn't help but wish that something would change.

Chapter 2: Normal Life Part 2

Chapter Text

Shockwave

It was lunch time and you were waiting in the very long cafeteria line. after 15 mins of waiting, you gathered all the food that was requested and something for yourself of course. With a smile you happily made your way to your BFF Sierra and the other girls that were sitting at your table. You headed over and put the tray down. The girls were to busy chatting to notice.

"Hi guys! I brought the food!" You said cheerfully with a smile.

They all stopped talking, some of the girls giving you an annoyed look. Sierra gave them a kind of scoulding look, before turning to you with a friendly but somewhat forced smile.

"Thanks (y/n)! You're the best!" Said Sierra.

You smiled happy that your friend was happy. The girls took the food they asked for, and you grabbed yours. When you were about to sit in your normal seat next to Sierra, you saw a girl you didn't recognize sitting there. Sierra noticed you stare.

"Oh this Melany. She's going to be hanging with us from now on, and she wanted to sit here. You don't mind do you (y/n)?" She asked with a smile.

But that was your seat. Next to your BFF. But you didn't want to make Sierra or the other girls upset. If they were upset with you they wouldn't be your friends anymore.

"N-no. I don't mind. I'll sit somewhere else..." You said with a fake smile and cheerfulness to hide your sadness.

"Thanks (y/n). You're the best." Said Sierra.

"Yeah, no problem..." You said still with a fake smile.

Looking around, the only seat left was at the other end of the table. You made your way over and sat down. You tried to make small talk with the girls, but they just ignored you. No they probably were just busy talking about something important. Right? Yeah that's it. They wouldn't ignore you on purpose, they're your friends... You are lunch alone in silence, until you felt a poke on your shoulder. You looked up to see Melany and Sierra.

"So Sierra says your really good at science, right?" Said Melany.

You perked up at this. You loved science, and it was pretty much the only subject that you were good at, besides robotics. You smiled.

"Yeah, I am!" You said cheerfully.

"Great! Then you wouldn't mind helping me out right? This project I got is so hard and since your so good at it I thought, why not you do it? You don't mind right? Sierra and me really wanted to hangout after school today." Said Melany.

Your smile faded. You looked at Sierra to see she was giving you a thumbs up. You sighed and smiled brightly.

"Sure thing! I don't mind at all!" You said.

"Great! Thanks (y/n)." Said Melany.

"Yeah thanks (y/n)." Said Sierra.

You were supposed to hang with Sierra after school, but I guess those plans are canceled now. That's okay! She really wants to hang with Melany, and you want her to be happy. So its okay... You wanted change lately, but this wasn't the kind of change you wished for...

Knockout

You walked past Sierra and her followers on your way to your locker. They were gossiping again like usual. You got to your locker, and could hear there conversation.

"Why dose she dress like that?"

"She looks like a boy."

"I know right? So ugly."

"And why is her hair so greasy all the time?"

"She probably takes oil baths with those cars!"

"Hahahaha!"

Your grip on your locker tightened and you shook a little. Didn't they ever just shut up? They're so arrogant and prissy all the time. You really hated people like that. you looked over to see Sierra walk away with her followers and Vince. Ugh Vince. The jerk would make fun of you and would always hit on you. He was a big pig. Him and Sierra are perfect for eachother. You put your stuff in your locker, until you felt a light tap on your side. You looked behind you to find your friend Raf.

"Oh hey Raf! How'd school go? Get another A?" You asked.

He chuckled.

"Yep! School was good. What about you?" He asked.

"Oh, you know the usual. Took an oil bath, evaded the banshees from hell, and fending of pigs with a ten foot pole." You said jokingly with a laugh.

He chuckled, and looked up at you excitedly.

"Were you able to fix them?" He asked hopefully.

You put your hand to your chest in fake hurt.

"I can't believe you would doubt my skills. Frankly I'm hurt." You said.

He rolled his eyes playfully. You chuckled and pulled out the two remote controlled toy race cars from your bag and gave them to him. He took them excitedly.

"They're perfect! Thank you!" He said happily.

"No prob Raf. But mind telling me how your broke them this time? They were completely beat up." You asked.

He scratched his head nervously.

"Umm I was out with my friend and his car ran them over accidentally." He said.

"Again? This new friend that you've been hanging with needs to get a new driver's license." You said shaking your head.

He chuckled nervously. He then leaned in, and looked around.

"Are you going to that street race again tonight?" He whispered.

You shook your head.

"I would but I'm not feeling up to it tonight. Hopefully that Austin Martin can get on with one less fan cheering them on." You said.

Raf looked a little annoyed.

"I still don't get when you like that guy..." He said annoyed.

You rolled your eyes.

"I don't. It's not like I've met him or anything. I just like his car. You should see the finish on that beauty, and that horsepower... Anyway it's a nice car." You said.

Raf rolled his eyes chuckling at you.

"You and your cars." He said.

"Speak for yourself dude. We both love cars and racing, so you can't judge me." You said before chuckling.

He said his friend was here so he had to go. You waved goodbye. You grabbed you bag and headed home. Your life was ok you guessed, but a change would sure be a welcomed thrill.

Breakdown

You were on your way to your next class, when you saw a familiar girl fighting with her locker. You recognized her as Miko, from your music and art classes. She was struggling to get her locker open, and was kicking it. It finally burst open, causing all of her papers and books and binders to spill out all over the hall floor.

"Dang it!" Shouted Miko angerly.

She bent down to start picking up her things. Now normaly you were way to shy to talk to people, but the kind side of you couldn't just leave her without lending a helping hand. So that's what you did.  You walked over to her and bent down to help gather her things. she glanced up at you, and you made eye contact. You quickly looked away, and continued gathering her stuff. You now both stood up, and you handed her back her things.

"Thanks! That was really cool of you!" Said Miko.

You looked down slightly blushing.

"It's n-no problem. You're welcome..." You said shyly.

She smiled and pulled you into a big hug. You blushed in embarrassment.

"W-wha-?!" You said surprised.

She released you and looked at you with a big smile.

"You're totally not how I thought you were!" She said.

You were confused.

"H-how did you t-think I was?" You asked.

"Oh, well I always thought you were stuck up or something since you never talked to anyone, but I realize now you're just shy! Sorry for thinking that." She said.

You gave a small smile.

"D-dont worry about it. Alot of people think that." You said.

""Well I'm glad we're like totally friends now! I have to get to class so I'll see you later!" She said cheerfully.

She waved and you waved akwardly back. You were friends now? You smiled. You don't know how that happened, but you were glad you had a new friend. Later at lunch you were eating alone as usual, when  said new friend slammed her hands down on the table.

"What are you doing eating all by yourself?" She said.

"I always do...?" You said confused.

"Come with me!" She demanded.

She grabbed your arm, and started dragging you off. You had to grab your tray quickly, or you would've been without lunch. She lead you to a table with two boys sitting there.

"Guys this is my new friend (y/n)! And (y/n), these are my friends Jack And Raf!" She said proudly.

"H-hi." You said waving shyly.

They waved back. You are lunch with them and got to know them a little bit. You weren't used to having friends, but it might be a good change.

Chapter 3: Normal Life Part 3

Chapter Text

Steve

You were currently in your science class, taking your chemistry lesson. You looked to your lab partner Miko who was struggling with her mixture as usual.  You lifted a blue vial in your hand, and held it out infront of her. You shook it slightly to get her attention.

"Oh, there's the vial! Thanks (y/n)!" Said Miko.

"No problem." You said.

You felt eyes watching you, and turned to the row in front of you. There was Raphael and Jack, and Raphael was eyeing you with suspicion as always.

"What are you planning (y/n)?" He asked warily.

You smirked and plastered on an innocent smile.

"Why Raphy, it hurts you think so low of me." You said in fake offense.

Raphael rolled his eyes at your innocent act.

"Your ALWAYS up to something." He grumbled annoyed.

"Be quiet you two, or you'll get us all in trouble again." Jack said grumpily to you both.

You pouted

"Awww. Always the party pooper jacky." You said as you poured the last vial into your mixture.

"(Y/n), is there a reason your interrupting my class again?" Said your teacher irritatedly.

You looked as your mixture turned a satisfying Green. You smirked, before looking to your teacher with an innocent expression.

"Sorry Ms. Actually I had to go to the bathroom." You said innocently.

She eyes you with suspicion, before sighing.

"Fine, but make it quick! You have five minutes." Your teacher said sternly.

You smiled, and stood from your seat.

"Thank you ms." You said.

You walked out of the classroom and around the corner. You his behind the corner and watched the door of your classroom.

...

BOOM!!!

"AAAAAAHHHH!! EEEWWW!!! EEW, EW, EW!!"

Your smirk grew so wide it reached your ears, as you laughed your ass off. All your classmates came running out of the classroom. Stink bomb success. Jack, Miko, and Raphael spotted you as they held thier noses from the stench.

"(YYYYYYY/NNNNNN)!!!!" They screamed at you.

You smirked, but then your teacher saw you. She was burning with anger.

"And that's my que to go... Toodles!" You said quickly with a laugh, before running for your life as a hoard of angry students chased you down. As you ran you wished that this fun would never change.

Dreadwing

You stood in the alleyway, leaning against the cold brick wall. You had your headphones on listening to your music of choice. You brought your hand to your mouth, and took another puff of your cigarette. You were getting impatient waiting for that brat to get here. She's already half an hour late. Why'd she always have to be so late? Just as you thought that, the brat rounded the corner into the alley running up to you. She stopped to catch her breath, and panted heavily. You raised an eyebrow unimpressed.

"Haa... Sorry... Haah... I..ha... Had detention... Again..hah..." Said Miko short of breath.

You rolled your eyes annoyed at the same excuse she normally gave. You took one last long puff of your smoke, before dropping it to the ground and smushing it under your foot to put it out.

"Whatever, let's just get started already." You said annoyed.

"R-right." Said Miko, scratching her head nervously.

She followed behind you as you made your way into the corner store. You had already scoped the place out a d knew where all the cameras where. You kept your hood up and stayed in the blind spots. Miko waited a few minutes before entering the store, as you continued to pretend to be looking around. Miko when up to the cashier and kept him busy by annoying the crap out of him. With quick sticky fingers, you pocketed packs of smokes, gums, a few lighters, and other things that caught your interest. Then you made your self noticible as your grabbed a bag of chips and a pop bottle. You walked over to the counter where Miko was still annoying the Clerk. You waited a bit, before speaking up.

"Would you hurry up brat I have places to be." You said annoyed to gain the clerk's attention.

The clerk gave you and apologetic look, and told Miko to leave. She left with a fake degected look, and you payed for the pop and chips. You met up with her back in the Alley way. When she saw you she smiles smugly.

"So was I awesome or what? I was totally awesome!" She said proudly.

You rolled your eyes.

"Whatever. You were adequate. You would have been better if you would have show up on time for once." You said in a monotone.

She rolled her eyes at you, and stuck her tounge out at you.

"You're always so mean!" She wined.

You huffed annoyed and rolled your eyes. You tossed her the stuff she wanted you to snag, which she caught.

"Just go before your childishness gives me an aneurysm." You said annoyed.

She stuck her tounge out again, before smiling.

"See you later!" She said.

She waved goodbye and left you on your own. Sighing you pulled out another smoke, and lit it. You wait a while longer before heading home. Most people wanted a change, but you didn't have time to bother with stupid childish wishes.

Predaking

Your breathing was Heavy and your pulse beated frantically. Your feet hit the ground like thunder, as you ran with your eyes trained on the finish line. Only one person slightly ahead of you. With a burst of last minute of adrenaline you passed them and crossed the finish line. Slowing your pace to a walk, you tried to even out your breathing. You made your way over to the bleachers where you saw your friend Jack waiting. As you approached he smiled and tossed you a water bottle. You caught it in one hand, and gulped down the whole thing.

"You do know you need to breath right?" Said Jack with a Chuckle.

You finished the bottle, and chuckled with him.

"Thanks Jack. Who knew?" You said playfully.

"Hey you think you can hang out today?" He asked.

You gave him an apologetic smile.

"Sorry, I have to help out at the animal shelter today." You said.

"Oh right. How's that new dog that came in doing?" Asked Jack.

"He's doing much better. He's finally letting people touch him and he's eating more. Hopefully he'll make a full recovery soon." You said happily.

You and Jack chatted for a bit more before you left your Track practice. He headed home and you headed over to the animal shelter. After spending several hours helping out with the animals, you  headed home. Home wasn't really a place you look forward to anymore, and you wished your life would change for the better instead of the worst like it usually dose.

Chapter 4: Everything Changes

Summary:

Applys to all Scenarios

Chapter Text

It was late at night, and you just couldn't sleep. You decided that right now the best think for you would be to take a walk. You quietly left the house, and started walking in the direction of the woods. You think Jasper, Navada was best at nighttime.  It was peaceful and calm, perfect to clear your head. As you walked along the road path through the woods, you heard the sound of am engine in the distance. You stopped and listened. It was coming from the road, but deeper into the woods. Curiously got the best of you and you decided to investigate. As you followed the noise you began to hear voices.

"Is the new shipment of energon ready yet?" Said one voice.

"No not yet." Said a second voice.

"Well we have to get it ready soon or we'll have Megatron to face." Said the first voice worriedly.

You couldn't believe what you were seeing. From your spot hidding behind a tree, you witnessed two giant purple talking robots. What in the name all that is holy. You were freaking out. You took a step back, but jumped into something hard and cold. You froze. Slowly you turned around to face a purple car that transformed before your eyes into another giant purple robot. It tried to grab you, but you ran. You ran but ended up bumping into another one of the robots that had turned into a plane/jet. Your shirt was caught on the wing. Before you could free yourself, it took off into flight. With a surprised Yelp, you watched as the ground disappeared beneath you. The plain landed on a giant flying ship, and the impact caused you to fall to the ground, now free. The robot began to transform back into a robot, and when it did it saw you. It tried to reach you, but you quickly scrambled out if the way. It chased you as you ran. There was no cover on the landing deck. Them ahead you saw your saviour. A vent opening. You ran for in and entered just as the robot tried to grab you. Before you could relax, the hand of the robot reached Into the vent trying to get you. You stumbled back to get out of it's reach, when suddenly the ground beneath you disappeared. With a Yelp, you fell I to the darkness below.

Chapter 5: Life In The Vents Part 1

Chapter Text

Well this is not how you imagined your life would turn out. It had been weeks since you First fell into the vents of the giant war ship. At first it was a struggle to find food, after all humans didn't inhabit the ship. On your 3 day, you knew you were going to die from starvation. You laid near a vent opening, your stomach growling loudy. The sound only amplified as it echoed threw the vent system. But that turned out to be your savoir. One of the passing purple robots got scared shitless of the ghastly sound. It started panicking about how there was a ghost on the ship, and that it was too young to die. Whether you enjoyed it or not, you decided to take advantage of the situation. In an eerie voice you told the robot to bring you human food or you would eat it's soul. In short, it worked. The robot was back within the hour with food from McDonald's. Lots of burgers and fries. You thanked the robot and told him that he needed to bring you food every day, or you would eat the souls of everyone aboard the ship. That was how you set up your food and drink supply line. Soon it wasn't only the one robot providing for you. You guessed the robot must have spread the news, cause soon all the purple robots would take turns bringing you food. You ended up with more food then you could eat some days. One problem you still had though was that you began to smell due to the lack of showers and clean clothes. You also began easedropping in on the robots. You only found out a few things like the purple robots were called Vehicons and were the clone soliders of thier faction. You learned these robots were Aliens called Cybertronians from a planet called Cybertron. They called themselves Decepticons and were in a civil war with a faction called Autobots. You knew they could transform into different vehicles, and ate something called Energon. You didn't know what thier race was like, why they were at war, or why they couldn't go back to thier planet. You learned of some influential figures like the leader, but didn't know much beyond thier names.

(Your phone broke from the fall.)

Megatron

You revelled in the fear the Vehicons held towards you as a ghost, and you would often give vicious threats to the ones that didn't bring exactly what you ordered. What can you say? You could be picky with your food. You had set up a makeshift bed with a scrap of metal for the mattress, and your sweater for a pillow. You had chosen to set your bed near a vent opening that overlooked the bridge of the ship. From there you watched the daily happens in the ship. You got to see many of these deceptions, but one stood out to you more then the rest. Their Leader, Megatron. He had everyone on the ship terrified of him, and was ruthless with punishments. In your opinion he made good use of fear to be an effective leader, that always had his orders Followed. You could say that you conducted your business the same way, as the Vehicons feared you as a ruthless ghost and you used that fear to manipulate them. You have to say that your favorite thing to see from the vents was a of Megatron's second in commands, Starscream, failures. Starscream would always fail his mission or try to betray Megatron, and would get an epic pummeling by Megatron for doing so. You just didn't get why he kept Starscream around instead of killing him. Maybe he found Starscream's punishment amusing? In either case you always had a show to watch while eating your dinner. The other Decepticon of note in the bridge was the third in command, Soundwave. You didn't know much about him other than he was loyal to Megatron and very good at his Job. You didn't know how long you would be stuck on this ship, but at least you had found a way to survive.

Starscream

You were glad you had found a way to survive, but that didn't mean you liked manipulating the Vehicons. You spent most of your time exploring and mapping out the ship's vent systems, and what rooms they led too. You believe you have explored at least half the ship by now. It was a big ship after all. But you managed to find the main rooms including the bridge, eating hall, medic bay, a few labs and so on. Through your exploring you had managed to find some scraps of cloth and other materials you used to make yourself a makeshift bed. You even used some of the materials to make a few extra pieces of clothing, as your original clothes were starting to smell. They weren't the greatest though and looked like one of those outfits people make from sacks or garbage bags. You had chosen to set up your bed near an air vent that faced the outside of the ship. You enjoyed looking at the sky and feeling the wind blow around you. It made you feel at peace and forget about your dire situation, if only for a bit. One Decepticon that you took the most notice of was one called Starscream. You kinda felt bad for him. He was always walking around with fresh wounds as punishment for his failures, given to him by his leader. You could tell he tried hard to succeed though, and you often spotted him ranting to himself. You didn't know how long you would be stuck on this ship, but you knew you just had to keep surviving.

Soundwave

It was a bit odd for you pretending to be a ghost, mainly because it required alot of talking. And talking was something you didn't do much normally. You honestly can't believe you ended in this situation. I mean what kind of idiot gets stuck in an alien ship? Oh right, you. You hated thinking about how your perfect attendance at school was ruined now, not to mention all the school work you were missing. You were gonna get in so much trouble when you get home. They must think your a failure now. You had to get out of this dam ship. Every day you would search for a way out, until you finally found it. You found a room that contained something they called a space bringe of a ground bridge? I think it was a ground bridge. It was some green portal machine that you saw teleport Decepticons on and off the ship. This was your only way off this ship. One problem was you didn't know how to activate it. It seemed like only one of the Decepticons ever worked the machine. A tall slender intimidating one going by the name of Soundwave. From what you've seen he doesn't speak, but instead uses recordings to communicate. You learned he was Third in Command and head of communications. He was almost always around or nearby. You knew you would have no chance of escaping when he was around. So you made a decided to stay by the vent overlooking this room. You would study the machine, find out how to use it, and get yourself out of here. Now all you had to wait for was the right moment to make your escape.

Chapter 6: Life In The Vents Part 2

Shockwave

You had food and water now. That was good, right? But you weren't happy. You felt so alone. You had to get back home. Sierra and the girls must be worried sick about you right? Of course they were. They were your friends! What if they think you've left them? Do they hate you now? Did they forget about you? And you didn't finish Melony's science project! She's going to be so upset. Your a terrible friend... You missed your friends so much... And of course you knew that they missed you to! So you had to get back to them! You spent days trying to find a way off this ship, until you relized you were gonna be stuck here forever. You felt so alone, that you would often talk to yourself. You eventually decided to set up your bed near a vent opening that looked over a lab. Since you loved science this was the perfect place. You would see a few Vehicons come in now and then, but it was mainly one Decepticon in the lab. A large one eyed one handed Decepticon named Shockwave. It seemed like he was the lead scientist on the ship, and very valued by the leader. You loved watching him work and experiment. One day you would make it out of here, and return to your friends.

Knockout

You had accepted your situation and that you would probably be stuck here for awhile. At first you were bored. But that didn't last long as you quickly became interested in the biology of these Deceptions. I mean they were cars, and you loved cars. You wanted to know how they worked and everything. That's why you decided to set up your bed near a vent that faced the Medbay. This was the best place to learn how they worked. And it was here that you found the best entertainment ever. Two Decepticon best friends. One was the doctor in charge of the Medbay, a slick looking Deception named Knockout. When he wasn't tending to his duties he was always off somewhere. The other was a tanky Decepticon named Breakdown. The two would have the most hilarious banter that never ceased to make you laugh. You make be stuck on a ship full of aliens but at least you were having fun.

Breakdown

You really didn't like manipulating the Vehicons, but you had to if you wanted to survive. You would try to make it up to them by always asking nicely and thanking them. You were terrified to be on this ship filled with giant robots that could kill you at any moment. Because of this you chose to set your bed up near a vent opening facing a seculded part of the ship where no one really went. Instead of having the Vehicons give you food there, you would tell them to leave it at any vent opening. That way no one would find out where you hideout was. You would just your the vents everyday to find where they had left the food. Sometimes they would wait for you to show up and try to talk to you. Being the nice person you were, you would always listen to them when they talked. You didn't say much as you were shy, but you really did enjoy these conversations. You felt more at ease with the Vehicons, but there were still some Decepticons you made sure to stay clear of. One of the main ones was a hulking brute of one named Breakdown that seemed to talk with alot of the Vehicons. Even though you were scared, you knew you just had to stay strong until you found a way out of here.

(Your phone broke from the fall.)

Steve

Were you in mortal danger? Yes. Should you be trying to stay safe? Yes. But you were bored, so you wouldn't be doing that. Let's just say you took utter delight in scaring the Vehicons. You really loved this whole ghost gig. Some of the best fun in your life. You had set up a makeshift bed near a vent that faced the Vehicon Mess Hall. Here you could hear all the juiciy gossip going around the ship. You would often play pranks on the Vehicons by making their stuff go missing, spreading rumours and gossip threw the vents, scaring them when they passed by a vent opening, and so on. You got to learn the names of many Vehicons Like Gary, but you of course had your favourite. Your favorite Vehicon to prank was also the first one you convinced you were a ghost. His name was ST3V3, or Steve. He was seemed to be clumsy and have bad luck, and he had this amusingly girly scream whenever you scared him. The Vehicons may look the same for a regular person, but you were able to pick out the differences between each one, seeing each of them as an individual. Steve in particular had a small sliver of a scar on his neck that the others didn't have. You honestly didn't care if you were stuck on this ship forever. You had a way to survive and most important, you had endless entertainment.

Dreadwing

You spent you weeks here doing, well... Nothing. There really wasn't anything for you to do.  You didn't bother setting up a bed, and just slept on the floor instead. You would have felt clastaphobic in the Vents, but they were too huge for that. You had enough cigarettes left from the ones you stole to last another week or two at most. You wouldn't talk much to the Vehicons except when needed to keep your food supply going. After awhile you decided to improve your living conditions. You started stealing things from around the ship. Scraps of metal and cloth, some wierd tools, and even a data pad. You stole other things that you thought looked cool but didn't really do anything with them. You mainly stole stuff just to pass the time. You mainly just used the data pad. You couldn't read any of the symbols but there were some pictures and videos. Actually you had stumbled upon a jack pot. A storage room of some kind that stored what they called Energon and tons of other stuff. It was the jackpot to steal stuff from. You only had one problem. There were Vehicons that came to take inventory on everything, but the main one you had to watch out for was a flying Decepticon named Dreadwing. He always made the rounds around the ship to check on how the Vehicons were doing their Jobs, and checking everything in the inventory. You had to be careful around him, but until he noticed things were going missing, you can continue living like this.

Predaking

How did you get stuck in this situation? Had you really been so careless? Ugh... Well at least you were alive and had a way to get food. That's good. Just stay positive! You had spent most of your time here observing these deceptions. They were most likely the dominant species on thier planet, like humans are on Earth. But that just made you wonder more. What was thier culture like? What was thier planet like? What was thier wildlife like? You had so many questions. But that last one was answered the day you First saw that amazing Beast. They called it it a Predacon. It looked like a dragon and flew and everything. It was so awesome. Or he I guess? You were pretty sure it was a male but it could be a female. You would follow it around the ship through the vents to study it. It didn't seem to like a Deception named Starscream and you could understand why. Starscream would often use an electric rod on it, and treated it cruelly. You could definitely say you hated this guy. Animal abuse was one thing you had never been okay with. The creature interacted mainly with the Decepticon named Shockwave, who had created it you think. He gave it life somehow. You had decided to set up a makeshift bed near a vent that faced a large room that served as the creatures pen. After a while though you could tell the the creature had noticed your presence. You guessed it had smelt you. It would often stare at you and you would just stare back. At first the creature always had it's guard up, always keeping an eye on you. Eventually though, after about a week of this it began to get used of you. It began to relax and didn't seem to mind your presence anymore m of course you weren't going to chance going near it. It may tolerate you, but thag didn't mean it wouldn't kill you if you got to close. Even though you were stuck on this ship, life seemed pretty ok when you got to see this cool creature everyday.

Chapter 8: Captured - Megatron

Chapter Text

It's been well over a month since you've lived in the Vents, and by now everyone's heard the rumours of "The Ghost Of The Nemesis". That's the name the Vehicons have given you, but now even the higher ups have heard of you.

Megatron sat upon his throne, quite irritated as of late. The Vehicons were avoiding him more then usual, and even Starscream was being Extra careful to not make any mistakes. Why was he so irritated as of late? He's been irritated due to his Vehicons slacking off as of late. They were always late to thier posts and running off to Primus knows where. They were running around like scurrying scraplets. And what irritated him more was that it wasn't out if fear for him. In fact it seemed that they had half forgotten their fear for him! And because of what? A rumour of some ghost abord the Nemesis? Did they really fear it more then him? When he got his hands on the one responsible for this, they would dearly pay. He had already gave orders to find the cretin, but no luck so far.

You had been doing your daily round of the vents to find your food offerings, when something went horribly wrong. Now you walked over this vent opening everyday and nothing ever happened so you felt safe. Well not today! When you walked over it this time, the stupid thing fell open on you. You fell down towards the floor below, and landed with a resounding thud. You let out a loud groan as every inch of your body was a screaming I'm pain from the fall. You slowly lifted your head up, to find the eyes of several Vehicons on your.

"Shit." Was the single word you said.

You quickly got to your feet and began running with 3 Vehicons on your heels. You had to dodge left and right as they tried to grab you as you ran. One of them took a short cut in order to get ahead of you and cut you off. Your sped up, and slide right between it's legs. This casued the two Vehicons still chasing you to crash into the third. You were about to celebrate your victory when you noticed another Vehicon came around the corner and saw you. You sighed in annoyance. It tried to grab you, but you dodged, and It's hand hit the ground instead. You took the opportunity to run up it's arm. It stood up and tried to grab you, but you kept dodging, making it spin in circles to try to grab you. You could tell it was dizzy when it started to walk off balance. With a smirk, you jumped from it's shoulder and kicked it in the head. Because it was off balance, your kick was enough to cause it to stumble back and trip over the pile of Vehicons on the ground. You tucked and rolled as you landed, and watched as it fell to the ground. You gave a victorious smile at the Vehicon dog pile you had created and ran for it. You had your eyes set on a vent opening right ahead. Right when you were about to reach it, a Vehicon came out if no where a d snatched you up. You squirmed to try to get free, but it tightened it's hold denying you the chance to escape. You let out a fustrated yell.

"Let go of me you tin can! I'm gonna kick your ass!" You shouted in frustration.

The Vehicon ignored your protests and made it's way to the bridge. You squirmed and kicked and shouted all the way there. Your yells as you approached the bridge, was heard well before you got there.

Megatron growled In annoyance, as a loud racket aproched the bridge.

"What is all that racket?!" Growled Megatron.

The doors opened revealing a nervous looking Vehicon, and it carrying a loud squirming thing in it's hands.

"What is that?" Demanded Megatron.

"U-uh a h-human... Sir..." Said the Vehicon.

"Come closer and speak up!" Ordered Megatron.

The Vehicon quickly moved closer to the throne where Megatron sat.

"It's a h-human lord Megatron." Said the Vehicon.

"A human on my ship?" He said menacingly.

He eyed your squirming form with a glare, but you completely ignored his presence. You just kept squirming and cussing.

"SILENCE!" Hollered Megatron.

Everyone in he room fell silent, even you. The only sound was of Soundwave's typing. You stopped squirming, and met Megatron's glare was a fierce glare of your own.

"What do you want Bucket Head?" You asked in annoyance.

He blinked, confused for a moment that you showed absolutely no fear of him.

"How dare you speak to me that way fleshing. Do you know who I am? I am-!"  Declared Megatron.

"The great lord Megatron, leader of Decepticons, yada yada. I don't really care, just tell this tin can to let me go already!" You said in a grouchy tone.

Megatron gave a low growl, but before he could answer a recording played

."The Ghost - of the Nemesis..." Said Soundwave through recordings.

Megatron nodded for him to go on. Suddenly a hologram footage began to play. The footage showed your capture and the Vehicons you epicily took down.

Megatron fell silent, and seemed to be considering something. You were suspicious of what he was planing. He the looked at you with a menacing smirk.

"You may be of some use to me afterall." He said with that smirk.

"What are you planning?" You asked suspiciously.

He didn't say anything and just stood up. He snached you from the Vehicons grip and left the bridge. You fought to escape his grasp as he walked through the halls, but he just tightened his grip on you. It got so tight you could barely breathe, so you stopped struggling.

"Ugh! L-Let go...! You asshat! Bucket head! Rip off Dark Vader!" You yelled.

He rolled his eyes and growled in annoyance at your constant complaing. After a while if walking, he entered his Berthroom with automatic doors(all the doors were automatic). The door shut behind him, and he unceremoniously dropped you on a metal shelf.

"Ow! What the heck dude?!" You yelped.

He ignored you and sat on a large metal bed.

"Don't ignore me!" You protested.

He reached for something and threw it at you. You caught it, and it turned out to be some sort of old rag.

"What do you expect me to do with this?" You asked.

"I expect you to shut up if you value keeping your life. " He grunted.

You huffed, but didn't say anything. Your suprised he hadn't already killed you. You saw him lay on what these guys called a Berth, and he closed his optics. As he powered down, you tried to get comfy. You used the rag to try to warm your body, as the cold hard surface of the metal was not the best to sleep on.  You'd ask yourself What you've gotten into, but you already did at the beginning of this mess. You're stuck with this guy now and have no idea what he has planned for you. How could your life get any worse?

Chapter 9: Captured - Starscream

Chapter Text

It's been well over a month since you've lived in the Vents, and by now everyone's heard the rumours of "The Ghost Of The Nemesis". That's the name the Vehicons have given you, but now even the higher ups have heard of you.

"What do you mean you lost the data pads?!" Starscream asked annoyed over the comm.

"I-i'm sorry sir! I was on my way to d-deliver them when I r-remembered it was mine turn to feed the g-ghost today! I p-panicked and d-dropped them on the way to get the food!" Panicked the vehicon.

"Those data pads had crucial information! And you dropped them because if the rumours of some ghost?! How is it that some rumour has made every single one of your vehicons utterly incompetent?!" Yelled starscream into the comm.

"I-i'm sorry sir! I'll find them and get them to you right away!" Said the vehicon in a rush.

"You better hand them in to me before the day is up, or I'll turn you into scrap myself!" Starscream commanded.

Starscream ended the comm communication, and let out a deep sigh while running a servo down his facial plate.

"What am I supposed to do with these imbeciles? If I don't get those data pads to Lord Megatron, he'll turn me I to scrap metal!" He ranted while pacing the room.

You had been viewing the whole scene from a vent opening. You noticed that Starscream would get hurt sometimes if he failed, and you hated seeing anyone hurt. By the way be was reacting, you could tell there might be a big punishment if this was a failure. Not wanting to see that happen, you decided to search for the missing data pads yourself. It couldn't be that hard Right?

You knew most of the layout of the ship by know, or if it's vent system at any point. So you knew the paths the vehicons and other Decepticons often took. So you simply searched those places to find where the vehicon could have possibly dropped the data pads. Sure enough after about about 2 hours you managed to find the data pads. They're was no one in the room so you quickly ran out if the vent and brought dragged them both back into the vents.

Now came the tricky part. How would you get these to Starscream without getting caught? Looks like it was time to play the ghost card again. You dragged the Data Pads through the vents, to a vent opening in the room Starscream was in.  You made sure to hide around a corner so he wouldn't be able to see you if he looked into the vents. You then allowed the vents to carry and amplify your voice.

"W-what you s-seek is in the v-vent." You said trying to sound mysterious

Starscream stopped pacing and looked around a bit startled at the sudden voice.

"Who's there? What kind of mockery is this?" He demanded.

"N-no! It's n-not a m-mockery... I b-brought the d-data pad you n-needed. T-there in the vent..." You said quicky to fix the misunderstanding.

He hummed in contemplation. He had to Bend down to reach the vent opening, and you saw the reflection of his servo reaching into the vent.

"This better not be a trick." He muttered to himself.

His servo made contact with the data pads and he pulled them out of the vent opening. You sighed in relief when heeft the vents. The vents were your safe place, and it unnerved you that he entered it, even if only briefly.

Starscream was quite relived to have the data pads in his possession, but a thought he had just clicked.

"You're this ghost that turned our ranks into a bunch of bumbling idiots aren't you?" He Asked accusing.

You gulped but didn't respond.

"Well aren't you?" He asked impatient.

"I-I guess..." You said unsure.

You really weren't a whole fan of the whole ghost act you had to play.

"So what are you? Who are you? Why help me?"he interrogated expecting you to have an ulterior motive.

"I-i'm noone... I-I helped because you n-needed help..." You explained.

"Well that's stating the obvious. I mean what are you planing to get out of it?" He asked bluntly.

"What? N-nothing. Y-you'll get h-hurt if they were l-lost Right? I-i didn't w-want that..." You said sincerely.

"You expect me to believe you have no motive at all? You've nothing to gain?" He asked skeptically.

"Yes." You stated.

He didn't say anything for a moment as he was a bit baffled by your display of kindness.

"I-i have to go." You said before leaving.

You were never good with akward situations so you left in a hurry. You weren't paying attention where you were going, when suddenly the floor came out from under you. You let out a Yelp as you fell through the air, grunting in pain when you hit the floor. You must have fell through a lose vent opening. You looked up and froze. A vehicon who looked like he was In the middle of eating, was frozen in place as the two of you just started at eachother. You sprung to your feet and began bolting out of there, with the vehicon dropping his energon and sprinting after you. You ran through the halls trying to find a vent opening you could reach. You turned the corner and ran at full sprint to reach it. You just managed to get inside, when a servo snached you up and pulled you out.

"N-no!" You screeched as you struggled to break free.

The vehicon maintained a tight grip on you, and began walking through the halls towards the bridge. On the way there you began to tear up, and starting begging the vehicon not to kill you. You felt utterly pathetic and useless in your current predicament.

The vehicon finally made it to the bridge, where you saw Starscream handing in the data pads to Megatron.

"For once you didn't a screw up. You suprise me , Starscream." Said Megatron amused.

"Yes my lord." Said Starscream.

"U-um lord Megatron, I've found the intruder." Said the vehicon.

He held you up for all to see. You shivered under The Lord's glare.

"A filthy human is the intruder we detected?! How did one of the Autobots' pets manage to infiltrate my ship without notice for so long?!" Exasperated Megatron angrily.

A tall purple bot signaled Megatron over to the computer, you think the bit was the one they called sound wave. You couldn't here what they were discussing, but you caught a glimpse of the computer that seemed to be showing pictures of several humans. Megatron came back looking slightly annoyed.

"So this maggot is this so called 'ghost' that's disrupted my ranks, and given my nothing but grievances? How clever of you to hide in my vents, like a rodent." He said annoyed, yet somehow complimentary.

He looked to the vehicon holding you.

"Get rid of it. It's no one of the Autobots' pets so it's not even good enough to use as leverage." Megatron ordered.

The vehicon nodded and you panicked.

"W-wait! N-no, p-please don't k-kill m-me! I-i didn't m-mean to cause t-trouble! Please, i-i can be u-useful!" You begged.

Starscream recognized you voice, and had a complicated look on his face. Megatron was ready to dismiss you claims, until his second in command spoke up.

"If I may, my lord, the human could prove useful to us. The Autobots have already shown the advantage they have with their human pets. and it seems somewhat capable as it was able to hide in the ship for so long, as well as disrupt our ranks." Starscream suggested.

You were surprised he spoke up for you. Megatron seemed to contemplate his suggestion, before a smirk came onto his face. He walked over and grabbed you from the vehicon.

"Very well then. It may prove to be of some use after all." He said grinning at you with that evil smirk.

He then roughly tossed you over to Starscream. Not expecting that Starscream nearly dropped you as he struggled to catch you. When he finally did he let out a brief sigh of relief.

"M-my lord, why are you giving this Thing to me?!" He asked confused and shocked.

"It was your suggestion to keep it, so you'll look after it. It if dies, you'll be next. Do I make myself clear?" Megatron seeethed with a glare.

"Y-Yes My Lord." Said Starscream with a quick bow.

Megatron seemingly tired with Starscream went back to his throne, and dismissed him. Starscream left the bridge with you in hand, and began head back to his Berthroom. When he got there the automatic doors opened and shut behind him. The room you noticed was somewhat larger then the room you saw belonging to the vehicons, most likely do to him being second in command. He dropped you unceremoniously onto one of the metal shelves. The fall was only a small one, so it only made your butt a little sore. The cold surface already made you miss you make shift bed with your sky view.

Starscream didn't say anything to as he layed down on a metal bed they called a Berth, with his back facing you. You noticed a rag on the shelf nearby and grabbed it to use a as blanket. You looked his back with confusion.

"W-Why did y-you help m-me?" You asked confused.

"I owed you one, and now we're even. That's it. Now be quite, I'm trying to recharge." He said somewhat cranky.

You thought of his words, and smiled a bit to yourself. Something you did actually paid off for once. You layed down and tried to get comfortable with the rag, luckily your makeshift clothes were surprisingly warm. Just as you were about to close you eyes, the SIC had one more thing to say.

"I suggest you keep proving yourself to be useful, or you won't last long on this ship." He advised.

And with that he closed his optics and powered down. You could not do the same through. You tried to sleep, but your fearful thoughts wouldn't let you. You could prove to be useful right? You had too, if you wanted any chance to survive... You wished you had your sky view, feeling the wind on your face. It would always help you relax, but now you had to struggle to sleep, but you managed to eventually. You once wished for change in your life, and look what happened... You didn't know what your future here held, but you just hoped you'd make it though alive.

Chapter 10: Captured - Soundwave

Chapter Text

It's been well over a month since you've lived in the Vents, and by now everyone's heard the rumours of "The Ghost Of The Nemesis". That's the name the Vehicons have given you, but now even the higher ups have heard of you.

"Soundwave, have you made any progress finding this pest that has disturbed our ranks?" Asked Megatron In irritated tone.

"Undectected" responded Soundwave in an audio clip.

Megatron made an irritated grunt.

With no further replies from the Lord, Soundwave left the bridge. he walked through the halls on his normal routine check up on operations. Energon stores, 3 units behind. Vehicon production optimal.

Soundwave tuned his audio receptors into a conversation that was taking place around the corner

"Did you get the subway?"

"What? No! I thought it was Wendy's today!"

"No you scraptoid! She's gonna kill us!"

"Guys, Guys! I got the subway! We'll be alright!"

"Thank Primus!"

"You seriously saved our sparks!"

As the three vehicons walked around the corner, they froze at the sight of him. They quickly stopped there conversation, and went down a different hallway. Soundwave often had to easdrop in order to collect information, and others were often too intimidated to be around him.

The vehicons were obviously talking about the 'Ghost' again. This entity was causing the vehicon ranks to be in a Frenzy as of late. The only good to come out if it was that the vehicons were learning to be more alert and punctual as of late, and becoming more eager of being more efficient. Finding this ghost had been a task added on to the many he already had, and he'd been unsuccessful so far. He didn't like the slow progress he was making.

He headed for the ground bridge to open it for the new energon shipments, and when he got there he froze.

You had noticed that Soundwave was spending less time at the bridge then normal, which would give you just the right amount of time to activate it and get out here. You've spent the past weeks studying the ground bridge and how it was operated, and where it would open up too. You were almost certain you could operate it with no trouble, and even if you got the coordinates wrong it didn't matter. As long as you got out of here. You had to get back in order to salvage what you could of your school grades. With enough cramming and extra assignments, you should get back on top in no time. Your parents would already be at your neck for letting your grades drop so much, and you knew there would be Hell to pay.

Operating the ground bridge was not easy as you couldn't read any of the symbols of this alien language, but you made due. You pulled down one last swich, and jumped diagonally onto three spaces out buttons. You then turned a knob, and pressed a red button. The ground bridge came to life in a swirl of green and blue. Your features lit up at the sight, proud at what you had accomplished.

You looked around one last time to make sure the cost was still clear, and froze. You filled with dread at the sight of the tall purple slender man just staring at you, no face and all. The staring lasted about a minute before, Soundwave made a movement towards you. You immediately slid down the control panel, tumbling when your feet hit the ground. You sprited as fast as you could for the ground bridge. You were just about to go through when it suddenly deactivated. You looked at where it had once been devastated. You had failed. As panic began to well up in you, you you spun around at the sound of that freaking slederman approaching you. You made a mad dash to the nearby vent opening, and made it in just in time to miss his outstretched servo. From you position your could see something detach from his chest, a bird robot, and it flew into the vents after you. You  dashed through the vents, making narrow turns to avoid it. The vents were big to you, but crapped for the droid. You thought you had lost it, when it suddenly came from the direction you were running. You made the quick decision to jump out of a vent opening into a supply room managing to avoid it. You had no time to celebrate as you were picked up in a servo, which had a gentle but firm grip on your fragile form. You stared into the faceless gaze of slederman, who simply stared back. You began struggling, as Soundwave simply studied you. You eventually gave up your struggle, giving in to failure. You matched his gaze as he seemed to contiplate your being. After awhile, he began walking out of the room and towards the command bridge. When he reached there, he raised you to eye level.

"Target acquired."

this got the attention of Megatron, thier infomus leader, who had been chastising a group a vehicons. His glare, turned into a smirk.

"Soundwave, you found one of the Autobots' pets." Said Megatron delighted.

You shivered at his evil glare.

"Negative."

You looked up at your captor to see several images of humans displayed on his screen, none of them you but of people you recognized from your school.

"Target is...Ghost. Has proved to be evasive and intelligent..."

"You're praising the pest that has be causing such turmoil within our ranks? A useless human?" Asked Megatron confused with a raised eyebrow.

"It has potential. It operated...Ground Bridge."

Now this seemed to suprise him, as he stared at you with disbelief. As you stared back at him, he gave you a glare.

"Keep it if you find it useful, If not get rid of it." Said Megatron with a sinister smirk.

Soundwave nodded, and walked off with you out of the room. He made his way through the halls, not a word between the two of you. You didn't even bother to struggle, decideding to stay calm. When you reached what looked like a bedroom, he gently placed you down on a metal shelf. He walked out of the room and came back several minutes later with a large clean rag. He held it out to you, and you took it. He then rested on the metal Berth, facing the ceiling.

Soundwave didn't really care for humans, but he preferred you over the other humans he's delt with. Unlike other humans who were loud and often annoying, you were quite calm and quiet. You also showed potential, so he didn't mind taking care of you, though it would mean more work for him.

You didn't understand why Soundwave saw potential to keep you around. You we're a failure. You failed to escape, so you would fail school too. You fail everything. Soon that Slederman would realize it too, and they'd kill you. You wanted things to change, but not like this.

Chapter 11: Captured - Shockwave

Chapter Text

It's been well over a month since you've lived in the Vents, and by now everyone's heard the rumours of "The Ghost Of The Nemesis". That's the name the Vehicons have given you, but now even the higher ups have heard of you.

"Take formula 42B to the table over there." Shockwave instructed his new assistant.

The vehicon picked up the beaker, and shakily made his way over to the table. The vehicon clumsily tripped over a cable cord that powered one of the machines, and spilled the formula all over himself. The vehicon screamed in horror, as the formula started burning through his chassis. He dropped the beaker as he fell to the ground, and glass shattered everywhere. Shockwave visibly flinched at this, seemingly tense.

Two vehicons quickly rushed into the lab, and carried out the injuried one. Shockwave sighed as he surveyed the spilt formula and shattered glass.

"What a mess..." He stated.

Several minutes later a replacement assistant entered the lab and began cleaning up the mess. Shockwave went to work on making a new batch of formula 42B, as he didn't get to even start the testing on the last batch.

He found his current predicament... inconvenient. When Megatron noticed that he was slightly behind in his work, he decided to assign Shockwave an assistant. To improve his work performance, to have help with his numerous duties. He found Megatron's argument illogical. He didn't need help, and being behind is only a slight setback. Even with his protests, Megatron made it clear that the matter wasn't up for debate.

It's only been a week and he was already on his 4th Assistant. None of these vehicons seemed capable of doing even basic tasks, so having them around is pointless. Absolutely illogical.

He had to work extra to make up for the set backs caused by his new 'Assistants', so Megatron wouldn't get the idea to give him even more than one at a time. He didn't think he'd manage to make any progress in his work if it came to that.

In all honesty, it would be logical to have an assistant, if a capable one existed. Unfortunately his picks for the position couldn't be spared for thier duites. Soundwave was even busier than he was, Knockout had his hands full with his patients, and he despised Starscream.

Because of all these setbacks lately, he didn't have time to pursue his more personal projects. As a scientist he naturally wanted to study the new forms of life in this world, specifically the homosapiens, or Humans. But those matters were unimportant to his main work.

After finishing this batch, he stored it away himself. He didn't want to waste more time making yet another batch. He then turned his sights on one of his main projects as of late. The device would serve as an upgrade to thier current Energon tracking system. The problem with the current system was that it could only dect energon stores if they were large enough, meaning the majority Witch were not large, couldn't be detected. This device would fix this, and with the war, they needed all the Energon they could get.

The problem was that he couldn't seem to get it to work. Everything was there, and the diagnostics were fine, so he didn't see what the problem could be. He could tear it apart to have a slight chance at figuring it out, but at that point it would just be scrap. Sighing he placed the device back on the table, deciding to focus on another project. He eventually left the lab in order to get down energon and refuel.

You kinda felt bad for the stock scientist. You had been watching him the past week and had cringed at how terrible his assistants were. Shockwave didn't show much emotion, but through subtle things you observed, you think he was annoyed by the situation. You could be wrong though. Ether way you decided you could help him out a little bit, since science, robotics, and other such subjects were your A game. Once you were sure both Shockwave and his assistant had left the lab, you exited the vent grate just above the table. You used the shelves to climb you way down to the table.

You approached the tracking device he was working on and decided you could try to find what was wrong. The machine was larger than you, but being small would be useful for you. One of the panels was left open, and you used it to crawl inside the machine. It was a tight fit but you managed. The inside was filled with wires, bolts, screws, clamps, and some much more.

After a few minutes if searching around, you finally found what you though was the problem. One of the wires had the metal piece inside it broken. It was small and hard to notice even for you, so it was no wonder a creature as large as Shockwave might have missed it. It would be a simple fix. You grabbed the two pieces of the broken wire, and twisted them back together. It would be best to get a new wire, but this should be good enough. With a giddy laugh, proud of your work, you exited the machine. You hoped it worked now.

You got up, but froze when you turned around. There staring at you unblinking, was a Singal calculating crimson eye. Shockwave watched you intently, and he seemed tense. He probably didn't like people messing with his stuff...

"Uh, H-hi! Shockwave right?" You asked cheerfully with a smile, but you were still really nervous.

After staring for a while, he quickly scooped you up in his hand. You began panicking a little, and he dropped you into a glass container. It had no lid but the wall were to high for you to get out. He turned to his assistant who had just re-entered the lab.

"Prepare the table for dissection. I have a new specimen I wish to study." He said with no emotion.

"Wait, you don't want to do that!" You said panicked.

He turned back to you, focusing his cold eye on you.

"And why wouldn't I? You can find out much from the process." He said logically.

Right this guy listened to logic, so you just had to appeal to that.

"Because you can find out so much more about humans if I'm alive. It would be illogical to sacrifice the chance to learn all that knowledge, for the little knowledge you'll gain from dissection in comparison. Wouldn't you say?" You asked hopefull your plan would work.

He seemed to take a moment to consider my words.

"I can always get another specimen to study alive. What makes you more valuable than any other human?" He asked.

"Because I could be useful in other ways too! Like I could make a better assistant then all those vehicons you've been having lately! I really good at science, and robotics, and stuff! Though not as good as you of course... And I have proof too! I fixed your machine over there!" You exclaimed eagerly.

He looked from you, to the tracker curiously. He tried to activate it, expecting it not to work again, but was pleasantly surprised when it did. He stared at the machine in contemplative silence for a while, before turning to look back at you.

"I suppose your argument...is logical. Your knowledge would make you a more capable then...my current assistants. I would also gain a new specimen to study." He replied in a neutral tone, though you could swear there was some sparkle of interest in his eyes.

Was that sparkle excitement? Or were you just seeing things? You have been talking to yourself alot lately, and might be going kinda crazy from the loneliness.

"Great then! This will be fun!" You said cheerfully, glad your plan had worked.

He didn't respond to this, instead seeming to check the time. Even after refueling, he didn't think his body would function much longer without reacharging. It has been a week since the last time he recharged. Not trusting his 'Assistant' not to somehow damage his new specimen, he decided to take it with him to his berth room. He grabbed some fabric and tossed it into the container he kept you in, before carrying the container to his berth room that was attached to the lab. He set the container down of one of the shelves, before laying down on his berth.

You used the fabric as a blanket, thankful that he wasn't going to let you freeze. You were also glad he took you with him, so you wouldn't have to be in that lab all alone. You turned to him, as he settled on his berth.

"Thanks for the blanket! I'm gonna do my best to be a good assistant tommow! I'm excited!" You said cheerfully.

When you got no response, you smiled sheepishly.

"Oh sorry, you must be trying to sleep. I'll be quiet now. Goodnight!" You said in a cheerful whisper.

Shockwave just glanced at you with a slight twinge of confusion. He's never had a specimen that was so...Talkative and Enthusiastic. This specimen was quite Illogical. He wasn't oblivious to the rumours of the ghost, and he'd quickly figured out that it was you. You were turning out to be an intriguing specimen to study.

You curled up and got comfortable, happily leting sleep take you. Your life had changed alot lately, and never in the way you wanted. It couldn't get worse right? You were sure things would start changing for the better soon.

Chapter 12: Captured - Knockout

Chapter Text

It's been well over a month since you've lived in the Vents, and by now everyone's heard the rumours of "The Ghost Of The Nemesis". That's the name the Vehicons have given you, but now even the higher ups have heard of you.

Knockout was busy as ever in the Med Bay, with Breakdown assisting him. Normally he would be out on a drive at this time of day, or having Breakdown buff his finish. But NO. Here he was stuck in the Med Bay again, like he has been all week.

This 'Ghost of the Nemesis' has been making his life difficult. He was all for horror and ghosts like those found in human movies, but this was getting ridiculous. The vehicons have been so on edge since the ghost arrived, that they've been so freaking clumsy lately. Everyday, more and more vehicons turned up in the Med Bay, in an ever increasing damaged state. He was currently ranting about his thoughts, as usual.

"Ugh! This is the worst case this week! I swear these vehicons are trying to get themselves killed!" He ranted.

"It's not their fault, they're just rattled from the ghost. " Said Breakdown.

"Well it's a big inconvenience for me! Take this idiot for example. He somehow caused his energon shipment to explode, and turned his insides into confetti! I've fixed the outside, but I can't perform the surgery on the inside without removing the chest plate of the Chassis. And if I do remove it, all that energon he's leaking from the inside will pour out, and he'll be as good as scrap! If I lose another one this week, Megatron will have my head!"

"Calm your aft down already. We both know that the big boss won't actually hurt his only medic."

"No but he could do something worse, like scratch my finish!"

"Stop being such a sparkling! I'll just buff it out for you after."

"Yes, you are excellent at that. But it's still a travesty I wish to avoid."

"Alright, let's take a break and go on a drive. You need some air, and I need a break from your whining."

"Don't be like that, my chum. We both know you love to see my torture myself with existential dread."

This set Breakdown laughing hard, and Knockout joined in as they both left the Med Bay.

Once they were gone, you snuck out of a vent near the floor and entered the Med Bay. You had fallen in the vents earlier, and now had a large gash on your leg. It wasn't fatal or anything, but you still wanted to fix it up before it got infected.

You climbed up the side of one of the metal tables by using a stack of crates piled next to it. When you reached the top you found 2 things. One, some cloth you could use to bandage your leg, and 2, the injured vehicon Knockout was just working on.

You set to work on ripping up a piece of the giant cloth, and used it to bind/wrap up your leg. That should stop the bleeding. Speaking of which, your eyes returned to the vehicon.

You did feel bad for causing the vehicons to be scared enough to get themselves hurt. You also felt bad for causing so much stress to their doctor.

Examining the chest plate area of the vehicon, you found that there were holes small enough for you to climb in the chassis. With your knowledge of cars and robotics, you should be able to do something that would help. I mean you should help if you could, seeing as you're partly responsible for his condition, and it's the least you could do for all the trouble you've caused.

With that goal in mind, you made your way inside the vehicons Chassis. You were really glad the vehicon was unconscious at the moment. Inside you found what looked like the fuel lines of a car, and there were a lot of them. Most of them seemed damaged, and were dripping a strange blue substance that must be energon. You made sure not to let the energon touch you. It might be toxic after all.

You'd easily be able to fix leaking fuel lines in a car with epoxy, but you weren't at your workshop so you had none. Exiting the Chassis, you began looking around to see if you could find some or something similar. After a few minutes you came across a large bowl of a plaster-like substance that looked very similar to epoxy, so you decided to take a chance and use it.

You then began the long grueling process of going in and out of the chassis repeatedly, switching from fixing the fuel lines to retrieving more of the plaster substance. You couldn't just drag the huge bowl in after all, so you just took as much as you could each time on a piece of cloth.

You also tightened some bolt-like parts, which was also difficult as you had to do it by hand. What must have been several hours later, you were dripping with sweat. It was a rough job as the vehicon was huge, not an actual car, and since you didn't have access to any proper tools. At least it wasn't leaking any more energon. Normally this would be the stage of repairs where you would refuel the truck, but that wasn't exactly possible for you to do for this big guy. Hopefully Knockout would give this guy some more energon when he gets back.

And that would be right now... When. You crawled back out of the chassis, and turned around there he was. Walking into the Med Bay, with Breakdown behind him, and he was staring straight at you. You quickly tried to run, but his servo snatched you up effortlessly.

"Well, well... Look what we have here. A little fleshy has infested my Med Bay." Said Knockout.

You squirmed trying to get free, causing him to almost drop you. He fixed his grip on you, holding you firmly.

"Squirmy little pest, isn't it? Wonder how it got in?" Said Breakdown.

"Probably through the vents like a scrapling. ...wait, you don't think this is the ghost do you?" He said looking back at Breakdown.

"Maybe. Let's ask. I'm sure we can find a way to make it talk." Said Breakdown cracking his servos.

"No, no, I'll talk! Geez you guys are rude. It's so much more fun watching you through the vents." You said annoyed.

"So you are the ghost then? I should make you pay for all the trouble you've put me through lately." Said Knockout.

"Hey, mind if I do it? Your saw is messy."

"It's not messy, it's a precision tool. Besides, it's no fun if your hammer kills them in one blow. Wouldn't be much of a revenge then."

"Or, you could NOT hurt the Fleshy that saved your ass."

They finally turned to look back at you.

"What on earth are you talking about?" Said Knockout, offended.

"I just fixed that guy up for you. Your boss would 'scratch your finish' if you lost another one right? So no need for revenge, we're even now. "

He looked a little dumbfounded, and Breakdown seemed amused.

"Never thought I'd see the day that you'd have your aft saved by a fleshy!" Laughed Breakdown.

"Oh, shut up and hold her! I'm gonna prove that this is just a prank!" Said Knockout annoyed as he passed you to Breakdown.

While Knockout's grip was firm, Breakdown's was way too tight. Any tighter, and he'd probably squish you to death. You would say something, but you feared if you did, that he would be tempted to squish you anyway. They both seemed way too eager to kill you.

Knockout began checking the vehicon over, his annoyed grumbles increasing. When he came to the realization that you actually did a decent job of patching the guy up, and saving him a lot of work in the process, he gave a frustrated sigh.

"Fine, so you did fix the scrap heap. That still leaves me with the problem of figuring out what to do with you."

He turned to you expecting an answer, and flinched when he saw your predicament.

"Geez Breakdown, careful! You're gonna squish her!"

He quickly swatted away Breakdown's servos, grabbing you back into his own. You were glad for this, as Breakdown's grip had left you with several ugly bruises.

"It's not my fault they're so fragile. Why do you care anyway?"

"She's proven handy. We could find some use for her, I'm sure."

"Yeah, I could be like an assistant or something. Get into all of their small places you can't reach." You piped up.

"Seriously? You're both crazy. If you were scared the boss would have your head before, he definitely will over this."

"You just said I had nothing to worry about earlier, so you're contradicting yourself. Not very smart. And besides I'm sure our great lord Megatron could use his own fleshy pet. The Autobots make good use of them."

"Whatever. Just don't come whining to me, when your new pet gets blasted."

"You'll listen to me rant anyway, so I don't know what you're going on about."

Breakdown just rolled his eyes.

"Don't remind me. I better hit the berth early if I have to deal with that in the morning. Good luck with that thing."

"Goodnight to you, Lovely~"

"Don't lovely me, you aft."

Knockout just chuckled as he watched Breakdown leave the Med Bay to recharge for the night. He then looked back down to you, who had been giggling the whole time as you watched the exchange between the two Decepticons.

"Speaking of recharge, we should get to it as well. I've seen what you humans look like when you don't recharge properly. You end up looking like those zombies from your horror flicks."

You laughed.

"And what would it matter if I did?"

"If I'm introducing you to his high lord tomorrow, you need to at least look presentable."

That silenced you. Looks like tomorrow is the day you die.

Knockout carried you to his berth room that was connected to the Med Bay. He set you down on a metal shelf near the giant metal slab that was his berth. You looked down and realized there was definitely no way to get off the shelf. He left and came back moments later with the cloth you had torn earlier. He placed it next to you.

"You can use this. You already ruined it anyway."

"Thanks..."

Knockout then got himself ready for recharge on his bearth. He honestly didn't expect to pick up a Fleshy today, and hoped Megatron didn't actually have his head for this tomorrow. And the other thing that was bothering him was that for some strange reason, you looked very familiar. He'd have to ask you about that tomorrow.

You curled up on the cold metal table, only the cloth you had tightly wrapped around you making it bearable. You'd probably die tomorrow, so may as well enjoy your last moments as much as you could. At least getting blasted would be better then torture. You're glad you talked Knockout out of that.

You thought some change in your life would be a welcomed thrill, but this is not the kind of thrill you wanted. Maybe if you were lucky, you'd make it out of this alive.

Chapter 13: Captured - Breakdown

Chapter Text

It's been well over a month since you've lived in the Vents, and by now everyone's heard the rumours of "The Ghost Of The Nemesis". That's the name the Vehicons have given you, but now even the higher ups have heard of you.

Breakdown was busying himself with a little project in the storage room connected to the Med Bay. He'd been spending so long in there, that Knockout was getting annoyed.

"Are you still messing around in there? You're supposed to be helping me out, so what on earth is so important in there?"

"I'm setting up my trap. I've been planning it for a while."

"A trap for what? Do we have another scrapling infestation?"

"No, you aft. For the ghost."

"Oh my Primus, are you seriously buying into that nonsense? It was bad enough with all the vehicons going on about it."

"I thought you liked this horror stuff. Besides, don't you want to see a ghost with your own eyes?"

"Sure I like it, but I know it isn't real. And besides, can't they go through walls? Your trap won't work at all."

Breakdown shoved Knockout a bit.

"Thanks for the support, Buddy. Besides I have proof."

"You're gonna buff that out later."

"Yeah yeah, Mr.Princess."

Knockout rolled his eyes.

"So what's this proof?"

"Turns out a lot of the vehicons have been able to speak to it, if they wait long enough. I wanted to see what all the fuss was about, so I laid a trap of my own."

"Okay but that doesn't mean it's a ghost. I'm pretty sure ghosts don't eat fleshy food."

"We'll that's what I'm gonna find out. Do you want it or not?"

"I'll pass. I'm far too busy lately to fool around."

"Suit yourself then."

Knockout went back to work, and Breakdown kept an eye on his trap.

You were confused today. Normally the vehicons left your food in the same spots, but all those spots were empty today. It took you a while to search but you finally found a McDonald's bag. It was near a vent opening, in a storage room off of the Med Bay. Maybe it was a new vehicon delivering the food this time?

You checked the room to make sure no one was there, before you quietly left the vents. You approached the food and picked it up. When You did so however, you found it was attached to a string. Now that the string was pulled, you heard a lot of noise around the room, and suddenly a cage dropped onto you. It all happened so fast, that you didn't have time to escape.

You dropped the bag of food, and ran at the bars. You tried desperately to get out if the cage but it was no use. You were so scared. Tearing up, you sat in the corner of the cage with your arms wrapped around your knees and your head down.

It wasn't long until you heard heavy footsteps enter the room. You looked up quickly to see that it was none other than Breakdown. You began to panic more as he approached you, and started shaking when he picked up the cage.

He held you at eye level, and his optics widened in surprise. He smirked.

"So you're the ghost... Didn't think you'd be a little fleshy."

You were too panicked to respond, so you just continued shaking like a leaf. Breakdown quickly made his way to the Med Bay, and you had to grab the bars to stay steady in the shaking cage. He proudly presented you to Knockout.

"And you said my trap wouldn't work, but look at this. One freshly caught ghost."

Knockout looked up from his work, and was clearly surprised.

"It was a  fleshy the whole time? Guess that explains all the food. And that I was right after all about there being no ghost."

"Oh don't get smug, I'm the one that caught it."

"Touche. But what are you going to do with it now?"

Breakdown looked you over, before nodding to himself.

"I think I'll keep it."

"Are you suicidal? If Megatron finds out, it'll be both our heads. Besides, what in the name of Primus would posses you to want to keep a fleshy pet?"

"The Autobots are always bragging about theirs, and the little things seem Handy to have around. Besides, my Fleshy would totally one up the Wrecker's."

Knockout sighed.

"So this is about your rivalry? What makes this fleshy better anyway?"

"Well unlike his, this one is nice and quiet. Besides, it's cuter too."

This caused you to blush at the compliment.

"I will never understand your obsession with things you find cute."

"And I never understand your obsession with your finish."

"Hey, it's a work of art! Listen, you know Megatron will have it killed when he finds out. You can't hide anything from him on this ship with Soundwave as his TIC."

"Yeah, I know. I'll think of something."

"You better. And don't drag me into it. This is your mess."

"Again, thanks for the support. Don't expect buffing for a while."

"Now that's totally uncalled for. You know I can't get everywhere properly without you."

"Too bad. That's your mess."

Breakdown then headed out of the Med Bay before Knockout could complain more. He took you to his berth room, and placed the cage on the metal shelf next to his berth. He noticed you were quivering and thought you were just cold. He grabbed a rag that was also on the shelf, and placed it inside the cage for you.

"Here. You fleshies are so fragile."

You took it and wrapped it around you.

"T-thank you..."

He then clambered onto his berth, and got ready to recharge. He sliced the mystery of the ghost today, and got a cute new pet in the process. Now all he had to do was figure out how to keep you alive. Well that was a problem for tomorrow.

You curled up with the rag in the corner of the cage. You didn't expect to suddenly become a pet today, let alone the let to a scary Decepticon like Breakdown. Though he did seem eager to have you as a pet and even called you cute, so many he wasn't so bad after all. You just hope you don't have to face any more big changes for a while.

Chapter 14: Captured - Steve

Notes:

(See the end of the chapter for notes.)

Chapter Text

It's been well over a month since you've lived in the Vents, and by now everyone's heard the rumours of "The Ghost Of The Nemesis". That's the name the Vehicons have given you, but now even the higher ups have heard of you.

Steve walked though the ship with his eyes peeled for traps. In his arms, he carried several data pads that had gone missing over the past few days. The Ghost had a habit of stealing stuff from the bots and the most inconvenient times. At first it had freaked out all the vehicons as they stole valuable items like data pads, and their superiors would have their hide if they didn't find them. Fortunately they were easy enough to find, often just in the entrance to a vent, or even sometimes the ghost had already delivered the data pads to their superiors themselves. Once they realised they weren't in any real danger, the vehicons calmed down. Now days it was like a game to find the lost items the ghost took. They would all search, and when the time ran out, whoever found the most items won.

The ghost played other pranks as well, such as reorganizing the stockroom, putting out trip wires to cause stumbles, starting crazy rumours to float around the ship, and a lot of jump scares. The vehicons quickly lost their fear of the ghost, and started eagerly awaiting to find out who would be pranked next. At first it was only the vehicons getting pranked, but now even the superiors were dealing with the ghost's mischief.

In the time the ghost has been here, almost all of the higher ups had been targeted. Knockout had to scramble to find all his tools as they had been rearranged and left in the oddest of places for him to find. Breakdown had gotten trapped in a maze of perfectly placed trip wires, leading him to a day full of tripping and falling on his face or aft. Shockwave had his chemicals messed with, leading to many explosions coming from his lab. Soundwave had to deal with an abundance of rumours and false information spread around the ship, that lead to miscommunications of orders, and him sending vehicons to random places with the space bridge. Starscream had his normal Energon replaced with high grade, leading to the whinny commander being a drunken emotional mess for a whole day. She even managed to glue over a dozen of Megatron's personal datapads onto the ceiling of his berthroom, and surprisingly he was less angry, and many just confused. Megatron was actually secretly impressed that someone managed to do such a feat in his personal room no less, completely undetected.

Of course though, out of everyone to get pranked, Steve got pranked the most. Steve didn't know if you just liked tormenting him, or just because he was unfortunate enough to be the first vehicon you contacted. Because of this, the other vehicons looked to him as the ghost's spokesperson. They went to him to find out what the ghost wanted to eat on a certain day, to find out about pranks that had occurred around the ship, and to get the latest Gossip the ghost had collected.

Yes, the ghost loved to gossip, though not all the news was true, it was still entertaining for everyone.

Steve was now meeting up with Gary and Frank, the two vehicons groaning when they saw him.

"How did you find 12, dude?! I found like, only 3! Totally unfair." Groaned Gary.

"I couldn't find any at all..." Droned Frank in a monotone voice.

"It's not really that hard anymore. It tends to hide them in the same kind of places these days... Don't tell them I said that though please! I don't want the ghost to make things harder again..." Said Steve.

"Too late, dear Steve~ I heard everything. Good job for winning today! Your reward will come soon..." The ghost said with a chuckle.

Steve paled at the mention of an award. For the others, they would normally get extra Energon the ghost somehow found, or high grade, but for him it always meant one thing... A prank was coming. He shivered.

"Darling I wish you luck~" Said Gary, giving him a look of sympathy, he posed dramatically.

"If you don't make it, I get your stuff..." Stated Frank plainly in his usual monotone voice.

The rest of the day had Steve on edge, as he kept an eye out for traps. Near the end of the day, he began to relax. Maybe you were just joking this time, and would let him rest. He realized the fault in that thinking when he opened the door to his berthroom. Immediately something wet and sticky spattered across his entire frame. He stood there frozen for a while, till he used a servo to clear his visor. Looking down at his arms and legs he found them to be covered in paint... Pink paint...

He heard laughing behind him, and turned to find Gary and Frank, who's Berthrooms were right next to his.

"Pink looks great on you~ loving the new look!" Gary laughed hysterically.

"The ghost got you... Heh..." Said Frank with a tone of amusement in his flat voice.

There seemed to be another person laughing, but they didn't know who it was until a loud clang echoed from above. All of a sudden there was a tiny Yelp, and something small fell onto his helm with a little thud. Frank and Gary went dead silent, as Steve reached a Servo to grab whatever this object was. The object squirmed in his grasp as he brought it to optic level. There before him was a little human, smiling at him.

"Hey there Steve~ Gary, Frank... There wouldn't be a chance you'd let me go, and pretend you didn't see me?" You asked hopefully.

They all stared at the human in shock. That voice was definitely the same voice as the ghost. Well this explained the human food, and a number of other things. The 3 vehicons looked at eachother. They knew that they had to report you, it was their job after all... So why did they all feel a sense of dread, as they headed to the bridge...?

When the 3 vehicons stepped on the bridge, they were surprisingly greeted with a rather calm Megatron. In fact, their leader had been in a rather good mood compared to his usual temper.

"Uh sir, sorry for distributing you but..." Steve started.

"We totally found the ghost~" said Gary.

"It's a human..." Said Frank.

Megatron glared at you.

"So that's the termite that has infested my ship..."

"If I have to be a bug, could I be like a butterfly or something? Oh or what about a Bombardier beetle~ They shoot chemical fire from their butts~" You said excitedly.

The vehicons were shocked at how unfazed you are with all of this. Megatron seemed amused though.

"The maggot is either deranged or too stupid to fear do it's life. How amusing..." He chuckled darkly.

"We all die eventually. No point being a downer about it~"

"Umm, sir? What would you like us to do, with the um, human?" Asked Steve nervously.

Megatron eyed you and the vehicons, and Soundwave cut in with a recording.

" Increased performance of... Vehicons . Coincides with the arrival of... Ghost ."

Megatron seemed to contemplate this before smirking.

"Well I wouldn't want their performance to decrease... I'm in a generous mood, so as long as it proves useful, it can stay... You there." Megatron said, pointing to Steve.

"M-me?! Y-yeah sir?" Steve panicked at being signalled out.

"You found it, so you'll be it's caretaker. If it dies..."

He chuckled threateningly.

"It'll be your spark next."

Steve gulped, and Gary and Frank pulled him out of there, leaving a chuckling Megatron. Steve was panicking.

"Don't worry Darling~ it'll be fine!"

"You'll probably make it die somehow..."

"Not helping Frank! Darling needs support, not Reality~"

They made it too his Berthroom.

"Good luck dear~"

"Try not to kill it..."

The door closed behind him, and he sighed as he sat on his Berth.

"It'll be fine Steve~ I'll guide you to how not to kill me."

"R-right. Okay..."

"First, mind letting me down? Squeeze me any harder and I'm going to go pop the weasel~" You said laughing.

"O-h! S-sorry!"

He panicked and almost dropped you. He managed to clumsily catch you right before you hit the ground, and carefully placed you on his metal shelf.

"Okay so don't do that also..."

He sighed into his servos.

"Geez, Frank was right! I almost just killed you!"

"A life of almost is a life of never. Don't worry about it~ Now mind passing me that cloth? Human 101, we can freeze."

He passed you the cloth, and studied you.

"How are you so calm about this?"

"Because it's fun!"

"Fun?"

"Yup! Now relax and power down, Dear Steve. It's been 4 days since I last slept, so I really need to crash."

And with that you flopped into the cold metal and fell asleep in an instant. Steve stared at you surprised before sighing. He didn't sign up for this, and really didn't know what he was gonna do with you. He was really tired though... He placed the cloth on you since you had failed to do so, and got settled on his Berth. It didn't take long for him to get his much needed rest. He would have to remember to wash in the morning as the front of him was still pink.

You didn't expect to ever get captured, but like everything else in life, you'd find a way to be okay. On one hand things could get worse... But on the other hand, a whole bunch of fun opportunities have just opened up...

Notes:

Hey guys, what do you think of this chapter? I tried to keep the fun and mayhem of this character, but not sure how well I pulled it off. It would be great to hear any feedback from you guys on how I can improve! Thanks again for reading my work, and I'll see you all next time!
