Mumei sat comfortably between Kronii's legs as the Warden caressed her caramel shaded hair, arms wrapped around her own knees, her chin also resting by her knees as Kronii braided her hair. Kronii was humming to a tune, presumably a song. But Mumei was too lost in the comfortable silence to bother what tune it was.
Kronii smiled. "Anything the matter?" she asked, her hands resting onto Mumei's shoulders as she finished braiding the cute girl.
"H-how did you know?"
"You think out loud darling, literally." Kronii giggled softly.
Mumei let out a faint chuckle. "I guess that's right."
"So, what's wrong?"
"It kind of... Makes me feel uneasy that we were ordered to stay while the others work hard to keep the council intact." Mumei frowned, keeping her head down, hiding the expression behind her knees.
Kronii sat up from the bed only to sit infront of Mumei instead, patting her crown.
"I bet I know what expression you're making." Kronii whispered.
Mumei blushed, looking up to meet Kronii's loving gaze.
"You look breathtaking." Kronii said, unconsciously, either way. She would mean it with all her heart.
"You too." Mumei smiled, launching herself to embrace Kronii onto a big warm hug, the two laid on the bed, soft giggles were audible. And Kronii showering Mumei's cute little face with soft little kisses. Mumei was glad she was able to see a side of Kronii many people wouldn't know exist. And ofcourse, Baelz.

"Do you want to give Baelz a call?" Kronii asked, Mumei was now laying beside her as she scrolled through her twitter feed with her phone, Mumei was hugging her from her side, like a koala hugging a tree. Mumei traced little circles through Kronii's belly as she received head pats that was almost lulling her to sleep.
"Can we? They must be really busy."
"Baelz wouldn't miss a single text from you and I, no matter how busy she is." Kronii laughed softly.
Mumei was so relaxed with the way Kronii talks, her soothing voice. The way Kronii says anything was too enticing to deny especially if she was encouraging her to do something. Rather if Kronii encouraged her to call Baelz or not, Mumei would still do so, the only thing pushing her back was to not disturb the head Chaos council since she does get distracted easily.

"More files?" Baelz groaned in frustration. This was part of her job, yet if it wasn't destroying then it bored her out. Paperwork with council was a stressful job, she would have loved it if Mumei or atleast Kronii was with her to help her ease out the migraine she was currently having. But she remembered Kronii packed her some teabags to help her if she was stressed.
Baelz rearranged her things, grabbing her arm bag. "I'm gonna take a breather, will you two be alright?"
Fauna only smiled at the redhead, whilst Sana gave a thumbs up as she was fixated on reading a thick looking book. Which Baelz assumed was the book of how civilization started.
"I'll be quick." said Baelz before she truly took her leave, she plans to stop by the convenience store to get hot water, but she received a call halfway through.
Her hand traveled through her bag to find her phone and once she had a grasp of it, she looked at the contact. It was Kronii.
Baelz faintly smiled, before she answered, she leaned her back onto the nearby stone wall.
"Good afternoon Bae, how is work?" Kronii's voice rung through her ear.
"A pain in the ass."
Baelz could hear Kronii giggle from the line. "We sure do hope you're home soon. Especially someone."
Baelz's ears moved up from the sentence. "I love you two."
Baelz could hear Kronii give the phone over to Mumei. "Hello Bae!" The Bird chirped lovingly.
Baelz fiddled with the strap of her bag. "Hello Meimei." Baelz was happy she got to hear Mumei all bright and happy once again.
"Are you doing okay? Have you eaten lunch? Is Sana bothering you? Is your head hurti-"
"Meimei, I'm okay. Thank you, really." spoke Baelz wholeheartedly. "I was about to drop by the convenience store."
"Oh! Sorry for the bother, I miss you. We miss you. And..." Mumei took a while to continue her sentence. "Sorry, I'm the reason why you're in such place."
Kronii heard how Baelz audibly gasped shortly from the line since they were on speaker. Mumei was frowning, her embrace on Kronii tightening each second Baelz wouldn't respond.
"I miss you guys too, what are you talking about? No matter who or what reason it is that I'm here, I'll finish this work! I'll show anyone I'm not only capable of destruction. Afterall, I'm Hakos Baelz."
Mumei smiled. "I love you Bae."
"I love you too."
"I have to go, I promise to finish work today so I can go home early." Baelz took a deep breath. "Meimei, please get better."

Fauna placed a hand over Mumei's forehead. "Mumei forced herself to remember, that's why she fainted. A strong sense of confusion, I feel it."
"What kind of bullshit is that?!"
"Baelz calm do-"
"Calm down?! Do you know what you're saying?!" Baelz was about to say more, but Kronii placed a hand over her shoulder, shaking her head sideways. Baelz's fists were clenched tight, she was holding back.
Baelz finally sighed. "You can nurse her back, right?"
"I've relieved some of her pain." Fauna carried Mumei over to Kronii. "I expect you to do the rest."
"She's going to be alright." Sana told Baelz, patting the latter for reassurance.
"Kronii." Baelz called the Warden over before she could walk away. "I will take care of everything you need to finish. Take care of her."
"I will, I love you."
"I love you too."

"Are you sure you're ready to talk about it?" Kronii asked.
Mumei only hummed in response. She still gets small headaches when she does, but nothing she couldn't manage.
"I just wanted to... Try and remember what happened for everyone's sake."
"For everyone's sake?"
Mumei nodded. "If I keep forgetting what happened in my past, what memory would be left for me? What memory would be left of us? I don't want to... I don't want to forget you, or Bae, or Fauna and Sana."
"But darling you should understand that you currently can't do that. The past is prior of bad memories."
"I know." Mumei sighed. "I'm sorry. For making everyone worry."
Kronii's hand rested by Mumei's crown. She blinked, before she gave Mumei a kiss by her cheek. "'I'm pretty sure... That whatever it may be that happened on your past, it's nothing to worry about."
Mumei smiled in reassurance, her eyes slowly closed, she was dozing off to sleep.
"I wish you were there." Mumei mumbled, before she fell asleep completely.
I was there.
Kronii kissed Mumei's forehead one last time.
"I wish so too."

Baelz watched as the sun set right infront of her. She decided she would walk home instead, so she could sleep peacefully when she was tired. It was the first time she was coming home after a week, she spent the last week by the council looking for more hints or possibly clues about Mumei's unremembered past. She knew what it was, she knows what happened. But what was it that Mumei wanted to remember so much, what memory was it that she was so eager to know.
Baelz was lost in her own thoughts, that she didn't know she was by their apartment door.
She was about to look for her keys, until the door was opened by Kronii herself, holding a cup of tea in her hand.
"Welcome home." Kronii welcomed, she didn't need to open her arms. Baelz launched herself to Kronii without hesitation. Wrapping her arms around the Warden tightly. Kronii thought that Mumei and Baelz would almost have the same habits.
Baelz inhaled Kronii's scent. Home, Kronii smelled like home.
Baelz was muttering something while her face was pressed by Kronii's chest, it was mumbled. Kronii couldn't understand.
"Sorry, what was that?"
Baelz looked up. "How has it been here?"
"Oh it's alright, no one was taking up the stocks of our cheese spreads- Ow! Okay! Sorry sorry." Kronii giggled.
"Idiot."
"I missed you." Kronii leaned lower to give Baelz a kiss by her lips, Baelz leaned over to the kiss, closer. Her arms wrapped around Kronii's waist.
When the kiss broke, Kronii gave Baelz one more loving kiss by her cheek. "You drank the tea I gave you?"
"Yeah! It tasted great. You for sure know my tastes."
"Ofcourse I do." Kronii held Baelz's hand, leading them to the bedroom upstairs. Kronii opened the door to reveal Mumei sleeping peacefully under the blanket.
Baelz's eyes widened from the sight. Where Mumei would look alot peaceful when she was resting. She quietly made her way over Mumei, kneeling by her sleeping girlfriend. She brushed some of Mumei's hair by her ear. Baelz understood that it was stressful enough for Mumei not being able to remember things she should be. That's why she was glad enough to take her position even if it was just for a week. If it means Mumei, or Kronii's rest. She was willing enough to handle what she could.
"Thank you for your hard work Bae." Kronii whispered.
Baelz smiled. "It's nothing." She leaned in to give Mumei a kiss on her forehead. "Want to shower together?" Baelz asked Kronii.
"After my tea, I'll follow after you."
"Are we having miso soup for dinner?"
"If that's what you want, I'm sure you and Mumei can help around the kitchen."
"It's settled then!"
