The fresh breeze whispered in your ears as you sat atop Mount. Tianheng. The view of Liyue Harbor was amazing from above. Ships coming in and rushing against the Sea of Clouds.
"Ah, there's my favorite adventure-seeking traveler." A familiar voice of a specific Fatui Harbinger spoke aloud from behind you.
Turning to face the certain individual, he wore a gentle yet mischievous smile, "Childe?"
"Heh, that's me~!" He chuckled before taking a seat next to you.
"What brings you up here?" You asked out of curiosity.
"I saw you up here so I thought I might as well join you... But what brings you up here?"
"Well, I just got done doing a couple of commissions from the Adventurer's Guild."
"Oh? Then that means you're not busy, right?" Childe stood to his feet and held a hand out to you.
"Yeah..? What do you have planned?" You took his hand, standing to your feet.
Before Childe could reply, you lost your foothold on the mountain, slipping and yelping out. Your glider was stashed away, unavailable at the time. You clenched your eyes in fear, but you didn't seem to be moving. Something yanked you up. You felt it wrap around you and grip tight. You opened your eyes to see Childe in his final form.
"C-Childe..." You looked up at him, your fear ceasing once you knew you were safe.
"Are you alright?" He mumbled and looked down at you.
You nodded and cuddled a bit closer into his hug. He seemed to tense up before he cautiously pulled you closer to him. With his arms wrapped around you and his scent drifting around you, you felt safe in his embrace.
Clearing his throat and transforming back to his normal state, Childe broke the silence, "How do you feel about going to Qingce Village? I heard there's a bunch of Glaze Lilies there.."
"W-Well, that sounds great.."
"Sounds like a date!" He stood and helped you to your feet, assuring that you wouldn't fall and starting to walk.
As your face shifted in color, you followed Childe, hand in hand. The two of you made small talk but most of the journey was a bit of awkward silence. You didn't mind though, it was great to walk next to your crush, especially since the scenery was beautiful and made it much more romantic.
At last, you and Tartaglia reached Qingce Village, taking in the beautiful landscape. You watched as Childe approached a Glaze Lily and hummed a little tune to it. It began to bloom and when he caught you watching, he stared right back at you. However, you averted your eyes, too flustered and ashamed to give in to his flirty demeanor. But with him approaching you and a flower in hand, there was no way of escaping it.
"Hey, can I tell you something?" He placed the Glaze Lily behind your ear.
"What is it?" You replied, looking down and away.
"I've... grown feelings of love for you, (Y/n)..." He raised your chin and gazed into your eyes earnestly.
"Well, I've grown feelings for you too." You gained some confidence, running your fingers through his hair and pushing your lips against his.
Although it was a fight for dominance, the kiss was fluffy and passionate, making the two of you melt. Childe moved his hand to your hips and pulled you closer, turning the kiss from a competition to a sweet first kiss.
Pulling away, you looked up at Childe. His face was beaming a light pink but nevertheless, he still had a cheeky smile on his face. You snickered slightly before kissing his cheek.
"Come on let's get something to eat. My treat." Childe winked at you.
Considering he had big money, you couldn't object. And with that, you and Childe went out to have a grand dinner filled with wholesome laughs and flirtatious compliments.
