   Summary

   “I…” he’s trying to withdraw, trying not to answer the question. He’s trying not to look Kaworu in the eyes, but he isn’t breaking eye contact. Why is that? He realizes that they’re sitting closer than they were, and he wonders how he didn’t notice before. He feels that unfamiliar force, pulling him towards Shinji. Nervous, shallow breath on his face. “I think you’re a person,” Shinji murmurs.
