Summary
Tommy's marriage to Grace is supposed to be a day of happiness and peace. Not that Chase Hughes sees it that way when he's stuck holding down Shelby Company Limited while the rest of the Peaky Blinders have a good time. Trying not to think of what he has lost. Sadness, alcohol and deep blue eyes are one hell of a drug.
“I thought you weren’t going to come, eh?”
He shut his eyes and cursed under his breath. Slowly, he was turning back and walking into the light, being engulfed in those bright blue eyes, like lights themselves.
“I wasn’t going to,” Chase admitted ruefully. “I just came to give my congratulations, Tom.”
