   Summary

   Tae Joon Park didn't get away. When he was framed for Mila's murder and the Syndicate came for him, he was captured.

   He never joined the Apex games - instead, he was tortured by the Syndicate for every bit of illicit information he possessed and eventually killed.

   But even then, they weren't finished with him. He was reborn as ‘Crypto’, more machine than man (Whitelisted) and the Syndicate’s new tool.
